Obama Says His Israel Statement Was "Misrepresented"

According to Fox News Insider:

"In an address last week, President Obama said that the "borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on 1967 lines, with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states." Sunday, he clarified his position, saying "Since my position has been misrepresented several times, let me reaffirm what 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps means. By definition, it means that the parties themselves, Israelis and Palestinians, will negotiate a border that is different than the one that existed on June 4, 1967."

We know that he never speaks without a teleprompter. We know that the stuff he says is run through a massive filter of handlers before it's typed into the teleprompter. We know he said what he said on Thursday. If his statement has been so misrepresented, that means massive numbers of people have (mis)understood exactly what he said about the 1967 lines and he again has made a massive foreign policy blunder. Did Netanyahu misrepresent what he said? Of course not. He knew exactly what our President said and meant. That's why he gave professor Obama a lesson in history and foreign policy in the oval office. Let's face it. If the people in charge of typing stuff into the teleprompter keep messing up, we are in deep weeds.
