Resolution to Remove Term Limits on President Rears It's Ugly Head

It appears the Democratic Progressives Never Know When to Give Up. They get their Butt handed to them in an election and they are up to their old tricks, again.

On January 7th, 2011, Rep. José Serrano [D-NY16] introduced H.J. Res.17 that will:

"amend the Constitution of the United States to repeal the twenty-second article of amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual may serve as President."

But in order for that to happen three-fourths of the states must ratify the proposal.

Now Rep Serrano is the only one that introduced this Resolution with No Co-Signers, but it has been passed on to the House Judiciary Committee.

But Rep Serrano is a Very Leftest Democrat. He Supports the Dream Act, Wants a Fence Built on the Northern border not the Southern, Supported Obama Care to the point he said the Uninsured are the 'Real Weapons of Mass Destruction' and during his speech at the DNC Convention in 2008, he said Obama would 'Steer Us(The Country) Back in the Right Direction.'

So while this Resolution has little chance of getting out of Committee (Even though the Committee is still run by 3 Democrats and One Republican), we have learned if there is the smallest of chances this thing grows legs we Have to Keep an Eye on it.

Because unless the Republicans stop this 'Atmosphere of Cooperation' with the Democrats, anything is possible.
