Marco Rubio on Scrapping Obamacare… or not?

I think that your headline is purposefully incendiary. If you listen carefully, in the first sentence Mr. Rubio says, "I think Obamamcare should be scrapped". He then goes on to explain that Americans should be able to:

1.) Eliminate preexisting condition clauses. (This is the main cause for not switching insurance companies. They know that, and are not compelled to lower costs or improve care because of it. Preexisting condition clauses keep people in their insurance companies, lowering the standard of care, service and afford ability ON PURPOSE)

2.) Allow small businesses to band together and purchase health insurance as a large group. (This would give small business owners buying power and negotiating power like large companies, lowering costs and improving service)

3.) Those small business insurance "cartels" (he did not use that word) should be able to buy health insurance across state lines. (This will also increase competition, lower costs and improving service.)

I wish MR. Rubio was running for senator in MY state. I am certain, if he sticks to these tenets, he will win. He might win the White House some day. IF he stays true to himself, he just might. I hope so.
