Obama Signs the Health Care Bill on The Same Day Hitler Signed the Enabling Act 77 Years Ago

March 23rd, 1933 Hitler signed into Law the Bill called "Removing the Distress of the People and the Reich" or also called the Enabling Act. The Enabling Act Stated that:
"The Reichstag [the lower house of parliament] has passed the following law, which is, with the approval of the Reichsrat [the upper house], herewith promulgated, after it has been established that it satisfies the requirements for legislation altering the Constitution.

ARTICLE 1. In addition to the procedure for the passage of legislation outlined in the Constitution, the Reich Cabinet is also authorized to enact Laws. . . .

ARTICLE 2. The national laws enacted by the Reich Cabinet may deviate from the Constitution provided they do not affect the position of the Reichstag and the Reichsrat. The powers of the President remain unaffected.

ARTICLE 3. The national laws enacted by the Reich Cabinet shall be prepared by the Chancellor and published in the official gazette. They come into effect, unless otherwise specified, upon the day following their publication . . .

ARTICLE 4. Treaties of the Reich with foreign states which concern matters of domestic legislation do not require the consent of the bodies participating in legislation. The Reich Cabinet is empowered to issue the necessary provisions for the implementing of these treaties.

ARTICLE 5. This law comes into effect on the day of its publication. It ceases to be valid on 1 April 1937..."
This Law effectively gave Hitler Dictatorial Powers while turning the German Parliament into nothing more than a useless gathering. Thus effectively Destroying the German Republic and Completing the Take over by the National Socialists of Germany.
Oddly enough, 77 Years Later to the Day on March 23, 2010, President Obama is going to sign into Law the Health Care Reform Act. Which puts the United States well onto the Road to Democratic Socialism.....
Coincidence?....or prophetic?

Not one day in anyone's life is an uneventful day, no day without profound meaning, no matter how dull and boring it might seem, no matter whether you are a seamstress or a queen, a shoeshine boy or a movie star, a renowned philosopher or a Down's syndrome child.

Because in every day of your life, there are opportunities to perform little kindnesses for others, both by conscious acts of will and unconscious example.

Each smallest act of kindness - even just words of hope when they are needed, the remembrance of a birthday, a compliment that engenders a smile - reverberates across great distances and spans of time, affecting lives unknown to the one whose generous spirit was the source of this good echo, because kindness is passed on and grows each time it's passed, until a simple courtesy becomes an act of selfless courage years later and far away.

Likewise, each small meanness, each thoughtless expression of hatred, each envious and bitter act, regardless of how petty, can inspire others, and is therefore the seed that ultimately produces evil fruit, poisoning people whom you have never met and never will.

All human lives are so profoundly and intricately entwined - those dead, those living, those generations yet to come - that the fate of all is the fate of each, and the hope of humanity rests in every heart and in every pair of hands.

Therefore, after every failure, we are obliged to strive again for success, and when faced with the end of one thing, we must build something new and better in the ashes, just as from pain and grief, we must weave hope, for each of us is a thread critical to the strength - the very survival - of the human tapestry.

Every hour in every life contains such often-unrecognized potential to affect the world that the great days for which we, in our dissatisfaction, so often yearn are already with us; all great days and thrilling possibilities are combined always in THIS MOMENTOUS DAY!

Excerpt from Dean Koontz's book, "From the Corner of His Eye".

It embodies the idea of how the smallest of acts can have such a profound effect on each of our lives.

Now that the Pelosi House has rammed ObamaCare through and the President has signed it, opponents of the legislation have been wringing their hands over what to do next. “REPEAL” they shout.

The Obamabot Mainstream Media has already begun the counter-assault by framing the repeal argument as taking back goodies that people are celebrating as “Christmas gifts”! And, of course, taking away something now perceived as an “entitlement” is very difficult.

We must shift our emphasis. The very distraction that caused the bill to pass… focusing on minutiae rather than the overarching unconstitutional power grab and curtailment of liberty… is now threatening any efforts to keep this abomination legislation from going forward.

The uninformed see the bill as a cookiejar of goodies for them. The media hypes “how can you take that away?”

The stock market does not see an immediate drag on the economy, though one is coming down the pike. They do see goodies for Big Pharma. The market rises, and the media hypes “see, Wall Street likes ObamaCare”. (Never mind that Germany’s economy grew after the Enabling Act gave Hitler dictatorial powers… but we all know the results on liberty!)

So what to do?

Firstly, the narrative must focus NOT on abortion, deficits, spending, death panels or any other minutiae. The focus must be on unconstitutional usurping of power and limitation on individual liberty.

Next, along with the states’ lawsuits challenging the constitutionality of ObamaCare, efforts should be made to secure a restraining order from the Supreme Court to prevent ANY provisions of the act from being implemented pending the outcome of legal challenges to it’s constitutionality.

In addition, the Republicans should come together NOW and craft the alternative healthcare reform they WOULD have liked passed. Tort Reform, purchases across state lines, small-business cooperative group purchases, etc – and INCLUDING the acceptable provisions from ObamaCare such as the pre-existing condition changes and denial of coverage changes. The new bill would also begin with the phrasing to the effect that, “ObamaCare is repealed in its entirety and replaced with the following.”

They should ALL Co-Sponsor this bill – written IDENTICALLY in the House and Senate, and introduce the bill as soon as it's written. (Yes, it will never see the light of day in a committe of the 111th Congress.) They should post this “Healthcare Reform Repair Act of 2010” bill online, and all conservative candidates, whether incumbents or challengers, should pledge and campaign that the first act of a conservative majority after the election would be to pass the Healthcare Reform Repair Act!

By writing INTO the repeal legislation the REPLACEMENT legislation, and by KEEPING the “goodies” that have been touted in ObamaCare while repealing the Government Takeover… we not only win the policy and ideological battles, but the propaganda battle for public opinion.

The Progressives have awakened the sleeping conservative giant. They have no idea how big and strong that giant is. We have lost a battle, but are regrouping for a counterattack which will decimate their movement.
