Big Government in Action: Old People told to take Down Green House In Case Someone Falls off the Roof
Here is apart of the Article that explains this absurd demand by Big Brother:
"In the six years since it was put up, people have worked in and around this greenhouse but never on it - for obvious reasons.
But now the green-fingered residents who use the communal hothouse have been told to pull it down in case someone falls off the roof.
If they refuse, workers will be sent in to demolish it.
The bizarre crackdown was announced by the housing association which manages the land after a tenant fell off a shed elsewhere in its district.
But the dozens of people who use the greenhouse at St George's Estate in Basildon, Essex - many of whom are elderly or disabled - have angrily accused health and safety zealots of robbing them of their only pastime.
Andre Le Brise, 57, who lives in a flat on the estate and is registered disabled, said: 'We are livid, to be honest, because most of us around here are disabled or elderly and it's all we've got. It's health and safety gone mad.
'When we moved in here nine years ago it was like a jungle. We took the weeds out and made it nice.
'One man bought the greenhouse and it has been there for six years with no problems.
'Anyone can use it to grow flowers or fruit and veg. Anyone can come down and help themselves to a handful of tomatoes or whatever. It is a great focal point in the summer.'
Another resident, who asked not to be named, said: 'Most of us couldn't climb onto the roof even if we wanted to."
What this Article doesn't mention is why the Council says the Shed has to be removed. I can take a Guess.
I believe that since England has a Government Run Health Care System, the Local Government is telling the People to remove the Green House so that no one else gets hurt. That is why the Counsel is forcing them to remove it. And that is how much control the Government has once you give them control of your health care.
What other reason could there be?

The online Newspaper, World Net Daily, has declared the one person who has made positive "Change" as their person of the year. Who is it? The Tea Party Participant.
Here are some of the reasons why the Tea Partier was picked as WND's Person of the Year:
"The tea-party participant – the individual who is frustrated America's leaders don't seem to want to "preserve and protect" the republic and gives up his or her own time, talents and money to warn elected leaders to choose the straight and narrow – has been selected by WorldNetDaily editors as WND's 2009 "Person of the Year."
On the WND Forums pages where readers were asked to contribute their suggestions and comments, "Warsong" noted the impressive quality of nominees ranging from the hackers who uncovered what apparently was a scheme to cook global warming evidence to longtime conservative stalwart Rush Limbaugh and the dramatic leadership of former Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin.
"I vote for the tea parties," Warsong wrote. "Unless we all become tea partiers and pull together, this Golden Age is doomed."
Added "su87491," "They gave their own time and resources to take it to the CONgress people on behalf of millions more that could not. I salute you."
"AKMac" said, "There will no longer be a USA without US."
The Article mentions how the Tea Party began with nothing but a Whisper. How through the Months all of the consecutive marches all over the Country that led up to the March on Washington on 9/12.
Here is a Video that was posted with the Article showing the 1.7 Million People marching on the Capitol. I was there...It is an experience I will never forget.
Even after this Historic March, the Largest in the History of the Nation, those in Washington Still choose to ignore us.
But that will be to their detriment...
This New Year is the death knell for the Political Careers of many in Washington. In 2010 the People will send a message Loud and Clear when they Vote those who have stood for Big Government and Socialism out of Office for Good.
Party no longer matters....It is time to stand On Principle.
That is why WND has chosen the Tea Partier as the Person of the Year.
The Tea Party movement will go down in History as the largest, most Spontaneous Grass Roots organization in the History of the United States. A movement that had little to no Chance in even being created. But look at us not even a year later. We are now a Force to be Reckoned with...A Force to be Feared.
The Tea Party is this Countries Last and Greatest hope to take back this Nation and Return it to a Constitutional Government.
Congrats to all the Tea Partiers. This Year it's Time to let Freedom Ring...
and make Sure the Sound of Bells Echo in the Heads of the Politicians.
Live Free or Die...

I was wondering when this would happen. Considering the fact that it is just after the Celebration of the Birth of Christ and the Fact that Obama can't find a Microphone he doesn't like. Someone has now said that Obama is Greater than Jesus Christ. Really...
According to an editorial in the Danish Newspaper, Politiken, when one compares Obama and Jesus, Obama wins.
Here is apart of the Article:
"He is provocative in insisting on an outstretched hand, where others only see animosity.
His tangible results in the short time that he has been active – are few and far between. His greatest results have been created with words and speeches – words that remain in the consciousness of their audience and have long-term effects.
He comes from humble beginnings and defends the weak and vulnerable, because he can identify himself with their conditions.
And no we are not thinking of Jesus Christ, whose birthday has just been celebrated - - but rather the President of the United States Barack Hussein Obama.
For some time now, comparisons between the two have been a tool of cynical opinion that quickly became fatigued of the rapture that Obama instilled prior to and after the presidential election last year.
From the start, Obama’s critics have claimed that his supporters have idolised him as a saviour, thus attempting to dismantle the concrete hope that Obama has represented for most Americans.
The idea was naturally that the comparison between Jesus and Obama – which is something that the critics developed themselves – would be comical, blasphemous, or both.
If such a comparison were to be made, it would, of course, inevitably be to Obama’s advantage."
As if that isn't bad enough, the unknown author ends his delusional ranting with this:
"Obama is, of course, greater than Jesus – if we have to play that absurd Christmas game. But it is probably more meaningful to insist that with today’s domestic triumph, that he has already assured himself a place in the history books – a space he has good chances of expanding considerably in coming years.
And Some wonder why we don't want to be like Europe....

I guess the "Underwear Bomber" didn't get the Memo. Here is the Audio Clip:
According to an Article on World Net Daily, President Obama signed an Executive Order to expand the Powers of INTERPOL:
"AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER 12425 DESIGNATING INTERPOL AS A PUBLIC INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION ENTITLED TO ENJOY CERTAIN PRIVILEGES, EXEMPTIONS, AND IMMUNITIES
"By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 1 of the International Organizations Immunities Act (22 U.S.C. 288), and in order to extend the appropriate privileges, exemptions, and immunities to the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), it is hereby ordered that Executive Order 12425 of June 16, 1983, as amended, is further amended by deleting from the first sentence the words "except those provided by Section 2(c), Section 3, Section 4, Section 5, and Section 6 of that Act" and the semicolon that immediately precedes them."
What Does this Mean? Well lets Just say it's not Good. But here is possibly what it signifies:
"At the ThreatsWatch.org website, authors Steve Schippert and Clyde Middleton gave their interpretation of the result.
"In light of what we know and can observe, it is our logical conclusion that President Obama's Executive Order amending President Ronald Reagans' 1983 EO 12425 and placing INTERPOL above the United States Constitution and beyond the legal reach of our own top law enforcement is a precursor to more damaging moves," they wrote.
"When the paths on the road map converge – Iraq withdrawal, Guantánamo closure, perceived American image improved internationally, and an empowered INTERPOL in the United States – it is probable that President Barack Obama will once again make America a signatory to the International Criminal Court. It will be a move that surrenders American sovereignty to an international body whose INTERPOL enforcement arm has already been elevated above the Constitution and American domestic law enforcement," they said.
"For an added and disturbing wrinkle, INTERPOL's central operations office in the United States is within our own Justice Department offices. They are American law enforcement officers working under the aegis of INTERPOL within our own Justice Department. That they now operate with full diplomatic immunity and with 'inviolable archives' from within our own buildings should send red flags soaring into the clouds," they said.
"Ultimately, a detailed verbal explanation is due the American public from the President of the United States detailing why an international law enforcement arm assisting a court we are not a signatory to has been elevated above our Constitution upon our soil."
Is this just another Move towards a One World Government by placing the International Police Force Above the Constitution?
Quite Possible. What Other reason could their be for such a Move?

It Appears that one of the most heavily surveyed countries in the world is starting to see a Backlash at "Big Brother".
According to an Article in the Daily Mail, a Lone "Vigilante" secured a Bomb to a Speed Camera in the Middle of the night and Blew it up. Neighbors nearby heard the explosion:
"Local resident Tina McCarthy was woken up by the deafening bang at 2.30am.
She said: 'A massive explosion woke me up and when I looked outside I could see a huge cloud of smoke coming from the camera.
'There had been thunder and lightning that evening but this was so much louder - at first I thought someone had shot at it.
'It's quite worrying to think that someone has these kind of explosive devices and can plant them so close to our homes."
While I don't condone a Bomb as a Means to show Disapproval. It doesn't take a Genius to figure out that a Government can only push it's People So far...

White House Press Secretary Says: "Senate Health Care Bill Comes Closer to Obama's Goal on Abortion Funding"
"I asked White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs off-camera after our interview this morning on "This Week" which health reform bill comes closer to President Barack Obama's goal, the House or the Senate version?
As lawmakers prepare to meet to reconcile the two bills before it can be sent to the president's desk, one big difference between the two bills are restrictions placed on abortion funding.
In the Senate version, the language on abortion funding would allow women who receive government subsidies to purchase insurance policies that cover abortion, but they would have to write separate checks.
But the House language is tougher. It prohibits women who receive government subsidies from taking out plans that provide abortion coverage.
I asked President Obama about that last month.
"There needs to be some more work before we get to the point where we're not changing the status quo. And that's the goal," Obama told me in November.
So, does the Senate language come closer to what the president wants than the House language?
Gibbs told me this morning: "Yes."

Because the Nominee, Erroll Sothers, will not answer the question to if he will force the Unionization of all Airport Security:
"Republican lawmakers have placed a "hold" on President Obama's pick to head the TSA over concerns he could undermine safety by unionizing airport security. The nominee is Erroll Southers, assistant chief in charge of security and intelligence at the Los Angeles airport's police department.
"It's very simple. Giving union bosses control over security at our nation's airports is dangerous and will harm our ability to respond to serious threats," said Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C.
"If President Obama's nominee will not commit to putting homeland security above the whims of union bosses, it should give everyone serious concern," DeMint said last month when the conflict developed.
The Washington Times reported last month DeMint blocked a vote to confirm Southers due to the nominee's ducking of questions about whether he would consider reversing current policy that barred the unionizing of airport security screeners.
Such a move would impose rules on union workers that could impede national security efforts in combating terrorist threats, critics charge."
I wonder what Union Mr. Carroll may force the Airport Workers to join. But I can make a Guess...

"Among at least 20 new rules President Obama's Labor Department plans to introduce in the new year is one that would require companies to file financial disclosures on their union-busting activity.
In a series of web chats over the last few weeks, Labor Secretary Hilda Solis has been pledging that 2010 will be a year in which her agency steps up what is already regarded as a strong effort by the department to go to bat for workers.
Solis is saying, in those web chats, that the efforts will involve not just new rules but stronger enforcement. To that end, the Labor Department is hiring 100 additional inspectors.
"The department's emphasis will be on green jobs, on more enforcement, protection of workers, and helping returning veterans receive employment assistance and job training," the Secretary of Labor says in one message, "but, in addition, we have 22 new regulatory items on the agenda."
Forcing companies to make more disclosures regarding their union busting is perhaps, one of the most important changes that the department plans.
Solis notes that companies have actually used loopholes in existing law to avoid such disclosure. "Under the Labor-Management Disclosure Act," the 1959 GOP-passed Landrum-Griffin law, "an employer must report an agreement with a consultant hired to persuade employees as to their collective bargaining rights," Solis said.
The law allows employers, however, an exemption if the consultants are merely "advising" the employers on these matters. Solis says, "The exemption is overly broad because indirect efforts to persuade are considered ‘advice' and are not reportable under the current interpretation of the exemption."
In one of the on-line chats Deputy Assistant Secretary for Labor-Management Standards John Lund talked about how the department has already actually pulled back additional disclosure requirements that the Bush administration had put on unions, particularly teachers unions and other public sector unions.
"This matter has not been finally decided. The issue is under consideration and will be the subject of an open and transparent rulemaking process," he said.
Earlier this year the Labor Department nixed plans hatched by the Bush administration to impose additional disclosure rules on individual union officers and shop stewards. Bush wanted to force these individuals to provide line-item spending reports and to include in those reports everything from paychecks to paper clips used for union-related activity.Another rule change the Labor Department wants to make would create a separate ergonomic job injury log in Occupational Safety and Health Administration reports. Companies would be required to faithfully maintain these logs and send copies of them to OSHA.
There was such a rule in the past but the very first piece of legislation signed into law by President Bush, passed by a GOP Congress, eliminated that rule.Ergonomic injuries, repetitive-motion injuries and musculoskeletal disorders, amount to a third of all on-the-job injuries.
Another planned change is the hiring by the Wage and Hour Division of 250 new investigators. The division will focus on industries with high violation rates and large numbers of "vulnerable" workers, according to Deputy Administrator Nancy Leppink in her on-line chat.
The industries Leppink referred to include agriculture, restaurants, janitorial, construction and car washes.
She said her division is trying to make it easier for workers to report wage and hour violations, including failure to provide overtime pay and underpayment of minimum wages or Davis-Bacon wages.
To make it easier, "because workers are fearful of losing their jobs in this economy and therefore less likely to file complaints when they are cheated," Leppink said complaints can be filed by third parties, "as long as the third party has sufficient information to indicate a probable violation.
The third party complainant can call the Wage and Hour office or the toll-free helpline at 866-4US-WAGE 866-4US-WAGE."
Still another new regulation the department plans is one that orders coal mines to reduce miners' exposure to coal dust, a documented cause of "black lung" and other diseases. The present rule, setting a limit of 2 mg. of coal dust per cubic meter of air, was set in 1972. A 1995 federal study, which the Bush administration never acted on, called for a lower limit and listed proposed tougher enforcement actions."

President Obama Says Senate Health Care Bill is Just One More Step to Making our "Union More Perfect"
I think the Union would be more perfect if a Progressive wasn't sitting in the White House, or in Congress, or anywhere inside the United States. But then again, thats just me...
Here is the E-mail:
"Although it's Christmas Eve, I wanted to share some exciting news: The Senate just passed a historic health reform bill.
In all the back and forth, it's easy to lose sight of what this incredible breakthrough really means. But consider this: This Christmas, there are millions of Americans without health insurance who risk losing everything if they get sick.
There are mothers and fathers who wonder how they'll provide for their children because an illness has wiped out their savings. There are small business owners who worry that they'll have to lay off a long-time employee because the cost of insurance is rapidly rising.
If we finish the job, all this can change. We will have beaten back the special interests who have for so long perpetuated the status quo. We will have enacted the most important piece of social policy since the Social Security Act in the 1930s, and the most important health reform since Medicare in the 1960s.
In Decembers to come, millions more will have access to affordable coverage. Parents will have the security and stability of knowing their insurance can't be revoked at a moment's notice. And the skyrocketing costs plaguing our small businesses will be brought under control.
When you make calls, write letters, organize, this is the change you're making -- a better life for your family and for men and women in every state.
There is still more to do before I can sign reform into law -- a last round of negotiations and final votes in the Senate and the House -- and I'm counting on your help every step of the way. But for now, I hope that as you celebrate this holiday season, you remember that the work you are doing is making our union more perfect, one step at a time. For that, I am grateful to you.
Merry Christmas and happy holidays,
President Barack Obama
P.S. -- Organizing for America supporters are signing a note of appreciation to all the senators who have worked so hard to make this possible."
Schumer and Reid having a Cheney Moment "They Are Going to Welcome Us with Open Arms" over Health Care Vote
Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer have been hitting the Alcoholic Egg Nog a little early. According to an Article on Politico.com, Reid and Schumer think that their Constituents at home are going to Welcome them With Open Arms because of their Vote on Health Care:
"This is a happy day. (Senate Republican Leader) Mitch McConnell said on the floor that we're going to go home and hear our constituents rail against this bill. I don't believe that. I believe that the negativity that Leader McConnell and others have continually displayed on the floor has peaked, and now when people learn what's actually in the bill—and all the good it does—it is going to become more and more popular because it is good for America, good for the American people, and a true symbol of what we can do if we all pull together," said Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer.
On the floor before the vote, Majority Leader Harry Reid said, "We're going to hear an earful, but it's going to be an earful of wonderment and happiness that people waited for for a long time."
I wonder if we should have random Drug tests for those in Congress....
And I have 2 people I would like to suggest they Start with.

An Unidentified Official from the EPA said that it's about time Santa Claus went "Green":
"It's a Shame that we need to force Santa to do something that he should have done on his own. If he truly loved the Polar bears and wanted the North Pole to remain Frozen, banning Coal would have occurred to him sooner. Since Congress is busy with the Health Care Debate, we thought it was time for those of us in the EPA to act."
When a reporter visiting the North Pole asked Santa about the new Ruling he responded:
"No Coal? Next they will be telling the Easter Bunny he can only have one Child and to stop handing out Eggs. What Ever, Person, Made this ruling they will be receiving alot more than Coal in their Stocking."
Santa's Head Elf, Bernard, thinks that the U.S. Federal Government is Growing out of Control:
'This New EPA Ruling is just another example of how Power, when given to too few, is abused. No one agency should have that kind of unchecked power to rule over people's lives. As the Power of the Federal Government Grows, the Power of the individual diminishes. If this continues to happen, soon the People of the United States will have no power left."
Since the EPA has declared CO2 a Pollutant, and the Supreme Court claims that the EPA has the power to regulate Green House gases, the EPA seems to have unlimited Power.
Because if they can Force Santa to stop handing out Coal, think of what they can do to Individual Citizens.
Naturally this is a bogus News Story. But tell me you didn't believe it for at least a second. That tells you something about this Government....
And How Little Power We the People have left...
But the Event was not without some humor:
"Clearly exhausted, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid mistakenly voted no before changing his vote to yes, which got a laugh in the chamber, especially from Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell.
After the vote, Reid joked, "I spent a very restless night last night trying to figure out how I could show some bipartisanship and I think I was able to accomplish that for a few minutes."
I'm Glad Harry Reid thinks that passing a Bill that will Destroy the Private insurance industry is something to be laughed at.....
The Rest of us are so Pissed Off all we can see is a Road to when we know longer have to say "Senator Harry Reid"....
Merry Christmas Mr. Scrooge!

Recently the President claimed that he did not Campaign on promises that he would pass a Public Option. But according to an Article on ABC News, he is lying:
"He told Planned Parenthood activists in 2007 that he wanted to set up "a public plan that all persons and all women can access if they don't have health insurance. It will be a plan that will provide all essential services, including reproductive services."
The Obama for America campaign website says the "Obama plan" for health care "will: (1) establish a new public insurance program available to Americans who neither qualify for Medicaid or SCHIP nor have access to insurance through their employers, as well as to small businesses that want to offer insurance to their employees."
His campaign literature said "Obama will make available a new national health plan that will allow individuals without access to affordable insurance coverage, including the self-employed and small businesses, to buy affordable health coverage that is similar to the plan available to members of Congress."
In a 2008 Washington Post questionnaire then-Sen. Obama said that "For those without health insurance I will establish a new public insurance program, and provide subsides to afford care for those who need them."
When Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., last month told Politico that "if you look at the campaign last year, presidential, you can't find a mention of public option," the liberal group Media Matters accused him of lying and provided myriad examples of the public option being discussed on the campaign trail.
This included an article in the New Republic from Jonathan Cohn which noted that Obama "included an optional public plan in his eventual blueprint for universal coverage."

"1. Surrendering to Russia over Missile Defence
The White House’s betrayal of US allies in eastern and central Europe by reneging on the deal to establish Third Site missile defences sent a clear signal that Washington was more concerned about appeasing Moscow than defending its friends. It symbolized all that is wrong with Obama’s foreign policy – including the willingness to curry favour with brutal enemies while giving the boot to some of America’s closest partners.
2. Appeasing the Mullahs of Iran
If Barack Obama makes a New Year’s resolution, I hope it will be that he stops appeasing Tehran. The White House’s strategy of engagement with Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been nothing short of a spectacular failure. While Obama has been busy emulating the European Union’s dismal Common Foreign and Security Policy and sending polite video messages, the Mullahs and their puppets have been busy advancing their nuclear weapons programme, enriching uranium, supplying arms to the Taliban, capturing British sailors, test-firing long-range missiles, threatening the annihilation of Israel, and killing pro-democracy protestors.
3. Ending the War on Terror
Not only did Barack Obama order the closure of the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay within hours of becoming president, but he also embarked upon ending the entire War on Terror, which was swiftly renamed an Overseas Contingency Operation. Nearly a year later the threat from al-Qaeda remains just as great, if not greater, but President Obama refuses to describe the battle in terms of a global war, and balks at identifying the enemy – Islamist terrorists. At the same time he has given the enemy a huge propaganda victory by endlessly castigating the Bush administration for supposedly “torturing” terrorist suspects, and apologizing for the counter-terror strategy of the previous US government.
4. Announcing a Surge while Declaring an Exit
There can be no doubt that the three months of dithering by President Obama over whether to deploy more forces to Afghanistan was highly damaging to the United States, and sowed considerable uncertainty within the NATO alliance. When Obama finally made an announcement in December to send an additional 30,000 troops to the battlefield, a huge step in the right direction, his decision was immediately undercut by the simultaneous announcement of an exit timetable, starting in 18 months. It is hard to imagine Churchill or Roosevelt declaring in the middle of the Second World War that they would fight the Nazis for another year and a half, and then start withdrawing their forces on the grounds of cost.
5. Apologising to France for America’s “Arrogance”
Barack Obama’s Strasbourg speech will go down in history as one of the most embarrassing moments ever for a US president on foreign soil. As I wrote earlier, “The President of the most powerful nation on earth traveled to France to deliver a grovelling, massive mea culpa for US foreign policy, including the War on Terror. Utter humiliation for America on European soil in front of a largely French and German audience who bitterly opposed the liberation of Iraq – not even Jacques Chirac could have dreamt it up.”
6. Giving DVDs to the British Prime Minister
I’m no fan of Gordon Brown, but the treatment of the Prime Minister at the hands of the White House on his visit to Washington in March was an appalling humiliation for Great Britain. The PM was received as though he were the leader of a third world banana republic rather than America’s closest ally, denied an official press conference and even a dinner. To add insult to injury, Brown was packed off with 25 discount DVDs ranging from Toy Story to The Wizard of Oz, which couldn’t even be played in Britain.
7. Siding with Marxists in Honduras
The Obama administration has certainly been consistent in its strategy of cuddling up to America’s enemies while kicking its friends. True to form the White House and State Department rushed to condemn the constitutional removal of left-wing, America-hating, Hugo-Chavez-backed despot Manuel Zelaya from power in Honduras, and his temporary replacement with pro-American Speaker of the House Robert Micheletti. Whatever happened to the good old days when the United States actually fought against Marxist tyrants in Latin America and backed anti-communists?
8. Bowing to Emperors and Kings
The last time I checked, Barack Obama was not a subject of imperial Japan, but his bow before Emperor Akihito was a scene straight out of the 1930s. A simple handshake with the descendent of Emperor Hirohito would have sufficed, but the president opted for a full-blown bow when the two met in Tokyo in November. It is one thing to pay respect to a monarch, but quite another for an American president to prostrate himself and his nation before a foreign leader. Needless to say, eyebrows were raised not only in America but across Asia as well. This was far from an isolated incident. Obama did exactly the same when he met with King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia at the G-20 in April.
9. Embracing Genocidal Killers in Sudan
I’ve included this in the list because it illustrates the extraordinary lengths to which the Obama administration will go to appease the most evil tyrannies on the face of the earth. In October Obama extended the hand of friendship to the brutal regime in Khartoum led by Omar Hassan al-Bashir, responsible for the murder of hundreds of thousands in Darfur, offering to lift sanctions if there were “concrete steps in a new direction”. The moral bankruptcy of this approach was summed up by Obama’s hugely controversial special envoy to Sudan, retired Air Force Major General J. Scott Gration:“We’ve got to think about giving out cookies. Kids, countries — they react to gold stars, smiley faces, handshakes, agreements, talk, engagement.”
10. Throwing Churchill out of The White House
Barack Obama’s decision to throw a bust of Sir Winston Churchill out of the Oval Office within days of taking power set the tone for his foreign policy. It sent a clear signal that the president cared little about the Anglo-American Special Relationship and the transatlantic alliance in general. It spoke volumes about Obama’s disdain for Britain, a nation that he has never mentioned in a major policy speech, as well as his scorn for the kind of powerful, assertive leadership that Churchill embodied."

But Just five days later, President Obama is singing a Different tune. According to an Article in the BBC, President Obama says that Copenhagen was a Disappointment:
"I think that people are justified in being disappointed about the outcome in Copenhagen," Mr Obama said.
"Rather than see a complete collapse in Copenhagen, in which nothing at all got done and would have been a huge backward step, at least we kind of held ground and there wasn't too much backsliding from where we were."

Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-N.Y.), the chairwoman of the House Rules Committee and co-chairwoman of the Congressional Pro-Choice Caucus, said that the Senate's bill is so flawed that it's unlikely to be resolved in conference with the bill to have passed the House."The Senate health care bill is not worthy of the historic vote that the House took a month ago," Slaughter wrote in an opinion piece for CNN's website.
Slaughter argued that while the House bill is far from perfect, the Senate bill's exclusion of a public option, along with abortion funding restrictions and other measures, make the bill undeserving of a vote.
Specifically, Slaughter said, the Senate bill would charge seniors higher premiums, would fail to nix health insurers' antitrust exemption and would not go far enough in extending coverage to people in the U.S."
Supporters of the weak Senate bill say 'just pass it — any bill is better than no bill,' " Slaughter wrote. "I strongly disagree — a conference report is unlikely to sufficiently bridge the gap between these two very different bills."

Odd that tensions between Communist Cuba and Obama have lessened. But Tensions between President Obama and the American People have increased.

“They think I shouldn’t be expressing my views on this bill until they get a chance to try to sell me the language,” Stupak told CNSNews.com in an interview on Tuesday. “Well, I don’t need anyone to sell me the language. I can read it. I’ve seen it. I’ve worked with it. I know what it says. I don’t need to have a conference with the White House. I have the legislation in front of me here.”
"A review of the Senate language indicates a dramatic shift in federal policy that would allow the federal government to subsidize insurance policies with abortion coverage."
Again, just another example of the "transparency" of this Administration.

"Iraqi gunmen have learned to intercept secret data from US intelligence and use them in their purposes. It goes about the information collected by Predator unmanned aircraft. A program, which can be downloaded online for less than $26, gives the gunmen an opportunity to access video signals transmitted by unmanned aircraft.
The software, supposedly developed by Russian programmers, works with the traffic from a satellite, unpacks files from it and saves them on computer hard drives according to specified filters. The warriors of the Iraqi resistance use the information to find out which objects the US intends to attack in the future.
The information first appeared in the WSJ, which referred to high-ranking defense and intelligence officials of the United States.
Mujahedeens, the newspaper wrote, generously shared the received information with many extremist groups. As a result, the above-mentioned program became a part of the standard equipment of an Iraqi gunman.
The authors of the article in the WSJ said that the gunmen could not intercept the control of the drones. However, their achievement minimizes the potential of unmanned planes.
The program is neither a hacking nor a pirate program per se. It was developed to access legal freeware. Who would have thought that Americans will be transmitting secret information via open channels?
The issue of the drone safety appeared for the first time during the middle of the 1990s, during the military operation in Bosnia. American specialists were working on the system to encode the signals sent to drones and from them. They eventually decided not to install the systems on the aircraft since they made the planes heavier.
The Pentagon apparently believed that the enemy would never be able to find out how to use such a drawback.
The Pentagon thought it wrong. The information proving that Iraqi Mujahedeens could intercept the signals from US drones surfaced in 2008. The laptop of a seized Iraqi gunman was found containing secret information of US air intelligence. Afterwards, in the summer of 2009, US servicemen seized several computers containing hours of recordings which Iraqi gunmen intercepted from drones.
Many countries of the world, including the United States, stake on the use of unmanned aircraft. Their share may make up to 36 percent of all other US aircraft already in 2010. They are particularly 375 MQ-9 Reaper drones, the cost of which amounts to $12 million each.
What is going to happen to the program of unmanned aircraft now?
Pavel Zolotarev, a senior expert with the Institute for the United States and Canada, said in an interview with Pravda.Ru that the drone program would not be revised because of the scandal.
Alexander Mordovin, an aviation expert, said in an interview with Pravda.Ru that the recent scandal in Iraq would obviously affect the development of the unmanned aircraft program.
“I believe that there is no program that can guarantee absolute protection against hacking. It’s quite possible that it was the US Defense Department that asked journalists to create the scandal to obtain more funding for the program. Drones will always be in demand. The only exception is a nuclear war because the impulse of a nuclear explosion puts all types of equipment out of order.

President Obama is trying to do just that to this Health Care Bill. In an E-mail to his Supporters in OFA he tries to call the Senate's actions on this Bill as "Making History". Too bad people on the Left and Right can tell that no matter what the President names it...
It Still Stinks.
Here is the E-mail:
"Early this morning, the Senate made history and health reform cleared its most important hurdle yet -- garnering the 60 votes needed to move toward a final vote in that chamber later this week.
This marks the first time in our nation's history that comprehensive health reform has come to this point. And it appears that the American people will soon realize the genuine reform that offers security to those who have health insurance and affordable options to those who do not.
I'm grateful to Senator Harry Reid and every senator who's been working around the clock to make this happen. And I'm grateful to you, and every member of the Organizing for America community, for all the work you have done to make this progress possible.
After a nearly century-long struggle, we are now on the cusp of making health insurance reform a reality in the United States of America.
As with any legislation, compromise is part of the process. But I'm pleased that recently added provisions have made this landmark bill even stronger. Between the time when the bill passes and the time when the insurance exchanges get up and running, insurance companies that try to jack up their rates do so at their own peril. Those who hike their prices may be barred from selling plans on the exchanges.
And while insurance companies will be prevented from denying coverage on the basis of pre-existing conditions once the exchanges are open, in the meantime there will be a high-risk pool where people with pre-existing conditions can purchase affordable coverage.
A recent amendment has made these protections even stronger. Insurance companies will now be prohibited from denying coverage to children immediately after this bill passes. There's also explicit language in this bill that will protect a patient's choice of doctor. And small businesses will get additional assistance as well.
These protections are in addition to the ones we've been talking about for some time. No longer will insurance companies be able to drop your coverage if you become sick and no longer will you have to pay unlimited amounts out of your own pocket for treatments that you need.
Under this bill families will save on their premiums; businesses that would see their costs rise if we don't act will save money now and in the future. This bill will strengthen Medicare and extend the life of the program. Because it's paid for and gets rid of waste and inefficiency in our health care system, this will be the largest deficit reduction plan in over a decade.
Finally, this reform will extend coverage to more than 30 million Americans who don't have it.
These are not small changes. These are big changes. They're fundamental reforms. They will save money. They will save lives.
And your passion, your work, your organizing helped make all of this possible. Now it's time to finish the job.
President Barack Obama"
Health Care for America Now(HCAN) is a supporter of Government Run Single Payer Health Care and are not happy with the Senate Health Care Bill. Here is their Plan to make sure that the Final bill that the President signs will have a "Public Option" in it and Reasons Why they Hate the Senate Bill:
"As you might know if you've been reading the newspapers, health care reform has had a tumultuous week. I want to make sure you had up-to-date information on what's happening, as well as our take on recent events.
Where are we now?
In the last week, the public health insurance option Majority Leader Reid put into his merged bill was stripped out, and a "compromise" allowing people over the age of 55 to buy into Medicare if they chose was added and then also stripped to appease Senators Joe Lieberman.1,2 The leadership and the White House accepted these changes in order to move forward, and they have introduced a bill in the Senate that reflects this.3,4
The compromise, which took away the best way to truly hold the insurance companies accountable, provoked an angry reaction from health reform supporters.5 Frankly, we're angry, too. The new bill released today does include a number of new, tougher insurance reforms, including a patients' bill of rights, restrictions on how much insurers can spend on administration and profit, and an attempt to hold down insurance premium increases.
Right now, the Senate bill looks like it will pass the Senate next week and move into conference with the House, which has a much better bill that it passed last month.
What needs to be fixed?
The Senate bill, as it stands now, has major problems that need to be fixed. We need to make sure that the final bill that goes to President Obama's desk provides good, affordable coverage and holds insurance companies accountable.
Here's what must be fixed:
1. Make health care affordable
The Senate bill does not make health care affordable at work, and would encourage employers to hire part-time workers and offer bare-bones benefits. We need the final legislation to do what the House bill does - require all but the smallest employers to contribute a fair amount to good coverage for their workers.
And for those people who are self-employed or in between jobs, both bills need improvement on affordability. The Senate bill doesn't do enough to make coverage affordable for low-and-moderate income families and the House falls short for middle-income families. The final bill should combine the best of both.
2. Hold insurance companies accountable
The final bill must include strong consumer protections and insurance regulations for all consumers, and give the federal government responsibility for running the new insurance marketplaces. Generally, the House bill is better, but we need Congress to pick the strongest provisions from both bills to be sure that everyone with insurance benefits from strong consumer protections.
The final bill should also give us the choice of a national public health insurance option that's available on day one.3.
Fairly finance health care reform
The Senate bill taxes the health care benefits of millions of workers to pay for health reform. There's a better way to pay for health reform that won't raise premiums and out of pocket costs. By contrast, the House bill asks those who can most afford to pay their fair share to finance reform, as President Obama promised during his campaign.
The final bill should ask the richest to pay their fair share for reform, instead of taxing our health care benefits.
The reason that conservative Democrats like Ben Nelson and Independent Joe Lieberman have been able to hold the bill hostage to their demands is that Republicans have insisted on filibustering the bill every step of the way, requiring all 60 Senators who are part of the Democratic caucus to agree. That will continue this week, with the next 60-vote motion happening on Monday and perhaps two more 60-votes motions occurring during the week.
After the Senate passes their health care bill, it will head into "conference" with the House bill. There, leaders from each branch of Congress, as well as the White House, will work to resolve the differences between the two bills and come up with something that can pass and be sent to the President's desk.
Conference is an opportunity to stand up for the three priorities listed above, and make sure the final bill guarantees us quality, affordable health care, with the choice of a public health insurance option. The legislation that comes out of the conference will be sent to both houses of Congress for a final vote, and will require a majority in the House and 60 votes one more time in the Senate.
What can be done?
In the coming days, we'll be asking you to let your Senators, member of Congress and President Obama hear from you. We'll be rolling out with a campaign to stand up for the fixes we must see to get the best bill possible to the President's desk. We'll be asking you to take part, raise your voice, and help us fight for what we believe in.
It's been a tough week for health care reformers, there's no question. But we need to get ready, because it's not over yet.
As President Teddy Roosevelt once said, "Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, and difficulty." This last week has been painful and difficult, and there's a lot of effort ahead. We'll all be taking this time over the holidays to recharge for the coming fight.
As long as you're fighting with us, we've got a chance to win this thing and finish reform right. Thank you, happy holidays, and onwards!
To your health,
Health Care for America Now"

According to an Article in the Washington Post, the last Democratic Holdout, Ben Nelson, has said that he will now vote for the Senate Heath Care Bill.
Why did Mr.Nelson Change his Vote? Well in Washington it's called "Favors", in the rest of the Country it's called Bribery:
"Democratic leaders worked for days to hammer out a deal with Nelson, and finally reached a tentative agreement late Friday night with him on abortion coverage provisions that had proven the major stumbling block to winning his support. Nelson also secured favors for his home state and to benefit different factions of the health-insurance industry.
Republicans strongly rejected the revised bill as laden with risky new policies and giveaways to win votes. GOP leaders invoked a Senate rule to require the package of changes in the legislation to be read aloud on the floor, a process expected to last about five hours.
"This bill is a monstrosity, a 2,100 page monstrosity full of special deals," said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.). "This is not renaming the post office. Make no mistake, this bill will reshape our nation and our lives."
It appears that they will pass this Monstrosity of a Bill on Christmas Eve. I am sure that the Democrats will see this vote as the "Second Coming".

New Immigration Bill WILL Give Amnesty to Illegals, Even If they Are Using Fake Social Securiy Numbers
According to the Communist News, People's World, H.R. 4321 would give Amnesty to most of the 12 Million Illegals and it may even go one step farther:
"If enacted, the bill would legalize the vast majority of the 12 million or so undocumented immigrants believed to be in this country, excepting only people convicted of serious crimes. Persons caught working under false Social Security numbers could be legalized."
So I guess the fact that anyone who is here Illegally and has been committing Identity Theft is not Considered a "Serious" Criminal.
Funny, If I committed Identity Theft I would be Arrested and Tried for my CRIME. But if I was here in this Country Illegally, then it may be ok.
How is it that a Non-Citizen has MORE Rights than a Citizen?
Does this make any Sense??

"HARRISBURG, Pa. - Republicans as well as Democrats testified for a single-payer health plan for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, embodied in Senate Bill 400, at a meeting of the state Senate Business and Industry Committee here on Dec. 16. Republican Don White, who chairs the committee, said he believed the issue is an important one that deserves further attention.
Sen. Jim Ferlo, the lead sponsor of the bill, explained that the private insurance model is a failed one. He said a single-payer system would, in addition to providing health coverage for all Pennsylvanians, free businesses from having to devote time and money to research plans and coverage for their employees. Further, he noted, businesses often play a game of musical chairs, by having to constantly change to more affordable plans. This results in employees having to change doctors frequently, and interferes with continuity of care.
Two Democrats and two Republicans spoke for passage of the single-payer plan. The proponents of the bill argued for the humanity of health care for all, as well as the fiscal responsibility it represents. The political diversity of the panel demonstrated the potentially broad appeal of state single-payer health care.
Chuck Pennacchio, executive director of Healthcare for All Pennsylvania, and a tireless worker for SB 400, emphasized how a single-payer plan would benefit business, and that it is consistent with good business practices.
Patricia Eakin, a nurse, gave moving testimony about her experiences working in one of the busiest emergency rooms in Philadelphia, located in one of its poorest neighborhoods. She spoke of patients who come to the ER with far-advanced complications of chronic illnesses - illnesses which, if treated early, can be managed without complications. One patient she described came to the ER with very high blood pressure and was found to be in kidney failure. If he had been covered by insurance, and if his high blood pressure had been cared for earlier and properly with medication, he would not have to face the future of pain and suffering that comes with dialysis three times a week. In addition, millions will be spent on his dialysis. The cost of managing his high blood pressure would have been miniscule in comparison, Eakin pointed out. Ironically, she said, his dialysis will be paid for with public money.
A Republican doctor, Dwight Michaels of Gettysburg, began his remarks stating that he had always thought he lived in a country that cared about people. He went on to speak about the bureaucratic nightmare the members of his practice face when dealing with insurance companies while trying to provide quality health care to their patients.
Another Republican who is a former state legislator, small-business owner David Steil, directed his remarks to the positive effect a single-payer plan would have on businesses. He spoke about how the cost of providing insurance has made competition in a world market a near impossibility for him.
Those opposing the bill represented industry groups like the Pennsylvania Medical Society, Capitol Blue Cross, the Hospital Association and the Insurance Federation. Some of their testimony was inaccurate, comparing SB 400 to the health reform bills now before the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. They cited the specter of government control of health care and rationing (ignoring the fact that thousands of Pennsylvanians unable to go to the doctor due to lack of insurance have been completely rationed out of the system), and a claimed increased cost to taxpayers if SB 400 is passed.
In fact, the state bill would increase taxes, but individuals and employers would no longer have to pay insurance premiums, and it is projected that this would result in huge savings.
There was a call for funding a feasibility study to determine the benefits as well as the shortcomings of SB 400.
Many single-payer advocates feel Pennsylvania is closer than other states to achieving a single-payer health care system. The present governor, Democrat Ed Rendell, has said he will sign the bill, and organizers have garnered bipartisan support for the bill, as the Dec. 16 testimony showed."

According to an AP article, the Obama Administration is claiming that an "Unprecedented Agreement" has taken place between China, U.S. and other countries as it pertains to Global warming:
"The agreement, which also includes the developing nations of India, South Africa and Brazil, requires each country to list the actions they will take to cut global warming pollution by specific amounts, a senior Obama administration official said. The official described the deal on the condition of anonymity because specific details had not been announced.
Under the agreement, the official said each country also will list the actions it will take to cut global warming pollution by specific amounts. The deal reiterates a goal that eight leading industrialized nations set earlier this year on long-term emission cuts and provides a mechanism to help poor countries prepare for climate change.
A European Union news conference to announce the EU reaction was postponed and an official said an overall agreement involving those nations not included in the deal that Obama announced was still being negotiated.
Obama suggested that Friday's agreement among the five countries would be adopted by the larger summit in its closing hours.
"I am leaving before the final vote," he said. "We feel confident we are moving in the direction of a final accord."
So what I took from this Article is that the "Agreement" has yet to be agreed upon. Figures..
