Big Government in Action: Old People told to take Down Green House In Case Someone Falls off the Roof
Ever notice that the Bigger Government gets the Dumber they think Citizens are? Well I think England has taken the Cake on "Protecting their Dumb Citizens".
According to an Article in the Daily Mail, a group of old people have been told to take down their neighborhood Greenhouse just in case Someone falls off the roof. The kicker, no one ever gets on, or can get on, the Green house Roof. Here is a Picture from the Daily Mail of the Green House:

"In the six years since it was put up, people have worked in and around this greenhouse but never on it - for obvious reasons.
But now the green-fingered residents who use the communal hothouse have been told to pull it down in case someone falls off the roof.
If they refuse, workers will be sent in to demolish it.
The bizarre crackdown was announced by the housing association which manages the land after a tenant fell off a shed elsewhere in its district.
But the dozens of people who use the greenhouse at St George's Estate in Basildon, Essex - many of whom are elderly or disabled - have angrily accused health and safety zealots of robbing them of their only pastime.
Andre Le Brise, 57, who lives in a flat on the estate and is registered disabled, said: 'We are livid, to be honest, because most of us around here are disabled or elderly and it's all we've got. It's health and safety gone mad.
'When we moved in here nine years ago it was like a jungle. We took the weeds out and made it nice.
'One man bought the greenhouse and it has been there for six years with no problems.
'Anyone can use it to grow flowers or fruit and veg. Anyone can come down and help themselves to a handful of tomatoes or whatever. It is a great focal point in the summer.'
Another resident, who asked not to be named, said: 'Most of us couldn't climb onto the roof even if we wanted to."
What this Article doesn't mention is why the Council says the Shed has to be removed. I can take a Guess.
I believe that since England has a Government Run Health Care System, the Local Government is telling the People to remove the Green House so that no one else gets hurt. That is why the Counsel is forcing them to remove it. And that is how much control the Government has once you give them control of your health care.
What other reason could there be?

The Article mentions how the Tea Party began with nothing but a Whisper. How through the Months all of the consecutive marches all over the Country that led up to the March on Washington on 9/12.

Even after this Historic March, the Largest in the History of the Nation, those in Washington Still choose to ignore us.
But that will be to their detriment...
This New Year is the death knell for the Political Careers of many in Washington. In 2010 the People will send a message Loud and Clear when they Vote those who have stood for Big Government and Socialism out of Office for Good.

I was wondering when this would happen. Considering the fact that it is just after the Celebration of the Birth of Christ and the Fact that Obama can't find a Microphone he doesn't like. Someone has now said that Obama is Greater than Jesus Christ. Really...

Obama Grants Foreign Police New Powers in Executive Order
While we are all looking at the Health Care Bill, President Obama is looking to expand the Powers of the International Police inside he U.S. Borders.
According to an Article on World Net Daily, President Obama signed an Executive Order to expand the Powers of INTERPOL:
"AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER 12425 DESIGNATING INTERPOL AS A PUBLIC INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION ENTITLED TO ENJOY CERTAIN PRIVILEGES, EXEMPTIONS, AND IMMUNITIES
"By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 1 of the International Organizations Immunities Act (22 U.S.C. 288), and in order to extend the appropriate privileges, exemptions, and immunities to the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), it is hereby ordered that Executive Order 12425 of June 16, 1983, as amended, is further amended by deleting from the first sentence the words "except those provided by Section 2(c), Section 3, Section 4, Section 5, and Section 6 of that Act" and the semicolon that immediately precedes them."
What Does this Mean? Well lets Just say it's not Good. But here is possibly what it signifies:
"At the ThreatsWatch.org website, authors Steve Schippert and Clyde Middleton gave their interpretation of the result.
"In light of what we know and can observe, it is our logical conclusion that President Obama's Executive Order amending President Ronald Reagans' 1983 EO 12425 and placing INTERPOL above the United States Constitution and beyond the legal reach of our own top law enforcement is a precursor to more damaging moves," they wrote.
"When the paths on the road map converge – Iraq withdrawal, Guantánamo closure, perceived American image improved internationally, and an empowered INTERPOL in the United States – it is probable that President Barack Obama will once again make America a signatory to the International Criminal Court. It will be a move that surrenders American sovereignty to an international body whose INTERPOL enforcement arm has already been elevated above the Constitution and American domestic law enforcement," they said.
"For an added and disturbing wrinkle, INTERPOL's central operations office in the United States is within our own Justice Department offices. They are American law enforcement officers working under the aegis of INTERPOL within our own Justice Department. That they now operate with full diplomatic immunity and with 'inviolable archives' from within our own buildings should send red flags soaring into the clouds," they said.
"Ultimately, a detailed verbal explanation is due the American public from the President of the United States detailing why an international law enforcement arm assisting a court we are not a signatory to has been elevated above our Constitution upon our soil."

English Citizen Fights Back Against Big Brother: Blows Up Speed Camera With Bomb

According to an Article in the Daily Mail, a Lone "Vigilante" secured a Bomb to a Speed Camera in the Middle of the night and Blew it up. Neighbors nearby heard the explosion:
"Local resident Tina McCarthy was woken up by the deafening bang at 2.30am.
She said: 'A massive explosion woke me up and when I looked outside I could see a huge cloud of smoke coming from the camera.
'There had been thunder and lightning that evening but this was so much louder - at first I thought someone had shot at it.
'It's quite worrying to think that someone has these kind of explosive devices and can plant them so close to our homes."
While I don't condone a Bomb as a Means to show Disapproval. It doesn't take a Genius to figure out that a Government can only push it's People So far...

Iranian Protesters Storm Through Officials to Cut Down Men Being Hanged

5 People were Killed and 25 People were wounded during the Struggle to Free the Men from the Hangman's Noose.

"I asked White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs off-camera after our interview this morning on "This Week" which health reform bill comes closer to President Barack Obama's goal, the House or the Senate version?

As lawmakers prepare to meet to reconcile the two bills before it can be sent to the president's desk, one big difference between the two bills are restrictions placed on abortion funding.

In the Senate version, the language on abortion funding would allow women who receive government subsidies to purchase insurance policies that cover abortion, but they would have to write separate checks.
.
But the House language is tougher. It prohibits women who receive government subsidies from taking out plans that provide abortion coverage.

I asked President Obama about that last month.

"There needs to be some more work before we get to the point where we're not changing the status quo. And that's the goal," Obama told me in November.

Transportation Saftey Administration Remains Leaderless Under Obama
According to an Article on WND, the Agency responsible for securing all modes of transportation in the U.S. is leaderless under the Obama Administration.

Because the Nominee, Erroll Sothers, will not answer the question to if he will force the Unionization of all Airport Security:
"Republican lawmakers have placed a "hold" on President Obama's pick to head the TSA over concerns he could undermine safety by unionizing airport security. The nominee is Erroll Southers, assistant chief in charge of security and intelligence at the Los Angeles airport's police department.

"It's very simple. Giving union bosses control over security at our nation's airports is dangerous and will harm our ability to respond to serious threats," said Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C.

"If President Obama's nominee will not commit to putting homeland security above the whims of union bosses, it should give everyone serious concern," DeMint said last month when the conflict developed.

The Washington Times reported last month DeMint blocked a vote to confirm Southers due to the nominee's ducking of questions about whether he would consider reversing current policy that barred the unionizing of airport security screeners.

Communist News: Obama Administration to Force Companies to Disclose "Union Busting" Tactics
The Communist News, Peoples World, reports that the Obama Administration is going to Force Companies to Disclose their "Union Busting" Tactics:
"Among at least 20 new rules President Obama's Labor Department plans to introduce in the new year is one that would require companies to file financial disclosures on their union-busting activity.

In a series of web chats over the last few weeks, Labor Secretary Hilda Solis has been pledging that 2010 will be a year in which her agency steps up what is already regarded as a strong effort by the department to go to bat for workers.
.
Solis is saying, in those web chats, that the efforts will involve not just new rules but stronger enforcement. To that end, the Labor Department is hiring 100 additional inspectors.
"The department's emphasis will be on green jobs, on more enforcement, protection of workers, and helping returning veterans receive employment assistance and job training," the Secretary of Labor says in one message, "but, in addition, we have 22 new regulatory items on the agenda."
.
Forcing companies to make more disclosures regarding their union busting is perhaps, one of the most important changes that the department plans.
.
Solis notes that companies have actually used loopholes in existing law to avoid such disclosure. "Under the Labor-Management Disclosure Act," the 1959 GOP-passed Landrum-Griffin law, "an employer must report an agreement with a consultant hired to persuade employees as to their collective bargaining rights," Solis said.
.
The law allows employers, however, an exemption if the consultants are merely "advising" the employers on these matters. Solis says, "The exemption is overly broad because indirect efforts to persuade are considered ‘advice' and are not reportable under the current interpretation of the exemption."
.
In one of the on-line chats Deputy Assistant Secretary for Labor-Management Standards John Lund talked about how the department has already actually pulled back additional disclosure requirements that the Bush administration had put on unions, particularly teachers unions and other public sector unions.

"This matter has not been finally decided. The issue is under consideration and will be the subject of an open and transparent rulemaking process," he said.
.
Earlier this year the Labor Department nixed plans hatched by the Bush administration to impose additional disclosure rules on individual union officers and shop stewards. Bush wanted to force these individuals to provide line-item spending reports and to include in those reports everything from paychecks to paper clips used for union-related activity.Another rule change the Labor Department wants to make would create a separate ergonomic job injury log in Occupational Safety and Health Administration reports. Companies would be required to faithfully maintain these logs and send copies of them to OSHA.

There was such a rule in the past but the very first piece of legislation signed into law by President Bush, passed by a GOP Congress, eliminated that rule.Ergonomic injuries, repetitive-motion injuries and musculoskeletal disorders, amount to a third of all on-the-job injuries.

Another planned change is the hiring by the Wage and Hour Division of 250 new investigators. The division will focus on industries with high violation rates and large numbers of "vulnerable" workers, according to Deputy Administrator Nancy Leppink in her on-line chat.

The industries Leppink referred to include agriculture, restaurants, janitorial, construction and car washes.
.
She said her division is trying to make it easier for workers to report wage and hour violations, including failure to provide overtime pay and underpayment of minimum wages or Davis-Bacon wages.

To make it easier, "because workers are fearful of losing their jobs in this economy and therefore less likely to file complaints when they are cheated," Leppink said complaints can be filed by third parties, "as long as the third party has sufficient information to indicate a probable violation.

"The department's emphasis will be on green jobs, on more enforcement, protection of workers, and helping returning veterans receive employment assistance and job training," the Secretary of Labor says in one message, "but, in addition, we have 22 new regulatory items on the agenda."

Forcing companies to make more disclosures regarding their union busting is perhaps, one of the most important changes that the department plans.
.
Solis notes that companies have actually used loopholes in existing law to avoid such disclosure. "Under the Labor-Management Disclosure Act," the 1959 GOP-passed Landrum-Griffin law, "an employer must report an agreement with a consultant hired to persuade employees as to their collective bargaining rights," Solis said.
.
The law allows employers, however, an exemption if the consultants are merely "advising" the employers on these matters. Solis says, "The exemption is overly broad because indirect efforts to persuade are considered ‘advice' and are not reportable under the current interpretation of the exemption."
.
In one of the on-line chats Deputy Assistant Secretary for Labor-Management Standards John Lund talked about how the department has already actually pulled back additional disclosure requirements that the Bush administration had put on unions, particularly teachers unions and other public sector unions.

"This matter has not been finally decided. The issue is under consideration and will be the subject of an open and transparent rulemaking process," he said.
.
Earlier this year the Labor Department nixed plans hatched by the Bush administration to impose additional disclosure rules on individual union officers and shop stewards. Bush wanted to force these individuals to provide line-item spending reports and to include in those reports everything from paychecks to paper clips used for union-related activity.Another rule change the Labor Department wants to make would create a separate ergonomic job injury log in Occupational Safety and Health Administration reports. Companies would be required to faithfully maintain these logs and send copies of them to OSHA.

There was such a rule in the past but the very first piece of legislation signed into law by President Bush, passed by a GOP Congress, eliminated that rule.Ergonomic injuries, repetitive-motion injuries and musculoskeletal disorders, amount to a third of all on-the-job injuries.

Another planned change is the hiring by the Wage and Hour Division of 250 new investigators. The division will focus on industries with high violation rates and large numbers of "vulnerable" workers, according to Deputy Administrator Nancy Leppink in her on-line chat.

The industries Leppink referred to include agriculture, restaurants, janitorial, construction and car washes.
.
She said her division is trying to make it easier for workers to report wage and hour violations, including failure to provide overtime pay and underpayment of minimum wages or Davis-Bacon wages.
.
To make it easier, "because workers are fearful of losing their jobs in this economy and therefore less likely to file complaints when they are cheated," Leppink said complaints can be filed by third parties, "as long as the third party has sufficient information to indicate a probable violation.
.
The third party complainant can call the Wage and Hour office or the toll-free helpline at 866-4US-WAGE 866-4US-WAGE."

Still another new regulation the department plans is one that orders coal mines to reduce miners' exposure to coal dust, a documented cause of "black lung" and other diseases.The present rule, setting a limit of 2 mg. of coal dust per cubic meter of air, was set in 1972. A 1995 federal study, which the Bush administration never acted on, called for a lower limit and listed proposed tougher enforcement actions."

President Obama Says Senate Health Care Bill is Just One More Step to Making our "Union More Perfect"
In an E-mail that President Obama Sent out to his Supporters in OFA(Organizing for America) he thanks them for their work and how they are helping to make our "Union More Perfect, One Step at a Time".
I think the Union would be more perfect if a Progressive wasn't sitting in the White House, or in Congress, or anywhere inside the United States. But then again, thats just me...
Here is the E-mail:
"Although it's Christmas Eve, I wanted to share some exciting news: The Senate just passed a historic health reform bill.

In all the back and forth, it's easy to lose sight of what this incredible breakthrough really means. But consider this: This Christmas, there are millions of Americans without health insurance who risk losing everything if they get sick.
.
There are mothers and fathers who wonder how they'll provide for their children because an illness has wiped out their savings. There are small business owners who worry that they'll have to lay off a long-time employee because the cost of insurance is rapidly rising.
.
If we finish the job, all this can change. We will have beaten back the special interests who have for so long perpetuated the status quo. We will have enacted the most important piece of social policy since the Social Security Act in the 1930s, and the most important health reform since Medicare in the 1960s.

In Decembers to come, millions more will have access to affordable coverage. Parents will have the security and stability of knowing their insurance can't be revoked at a moment's notice. And the skyrocketing costs plaguing our small businesses will be brought under control.

Schumer and Reid having a Cheney Moment "They Are Going to Welcome Us with Open Arms" over Health Care Vote
The Democrats have ridiculed Dick Cheney for claiming that the Iraqis would welcome us with open arms before the second Gulf War. Now the Democrat Leadership are living the same Delusional Dream.
Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer have been hitting the Alcoholic Egg Nog a little early. According to an Article on Politico.com, Reid and Schumer think that their Constituents at home are going to Welcome them With Open Arms because of their Vote on Health Care:
"This is a happy day. (Senate Republican Leader) Mitch McConnell said on the floor that we're going to go home and hear our constituents rail against this bill. I don't believe that. I believe that the negativity that Leader McConnell and others have continually displayed on the floor has peaked, and now when people learn what's actually in the bill—and all the good it does—it is going to become more and more popular because it is good for America, good for the American people, and a true symbol of what we can do if we all pull together," said Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer.
On the floor before the vote, Majority Leader Harry Reid said, "We're going to hear an earful, but it's going to be an earful of wonderment and happiness that people waited for for a long time."
I wonder if we should have random Drug tests for those in Congress....
And I have 2 people I would like to suggest they Start with.

EPA to Ban Santa From Handing Out Coal
In a Land Mark Decision today, the EPA ruled that ole Saint Nick has to stop handing out Coal. The reason given for this move was that if all of the Bad Children in the World received Coal, then they would most likely use it for Heat in their Homes. If all of that coal was burned, it would release large amounts of CO2 into the Atmosphere thereby increasing the effects of Global Warming.
An Unidentified Official from the EPA said that it's about time Santa Claus went "Green":
"It's a Shame that we need to force Santa to do something that he should have done on his own. If he truly loved the Polar bears and wanted the North Pole to remain Frozen, banning Coal would have occurred to him sooner. Since Congress is busy with the Health Care Debate, we thought it was time for those of us in the EPA to act."
When a reporter visiting the North Pole asked Santa about the new Ruling he responded:
"No Coal? Next they will be telling the Easter Bunny he can only have one Child and to stop handing out Eggs. What Ever, Person, Made this ruling they will be receiving alot more than Coal in their Stocking."
Santa's Head Elf, Bernard, thinks that the U.S. Federal Government is Growing out of Control:
'This New EPA Ruling is just another example of how Power, when given to too few, is abused. No one agency should have that kind of unchecked power to rule over people's lives. As the Power of the Federal Government Grows, the Power of the individual diminishes. If this continues to happen, soon the People of the United States will have no power left."
Since the EPA has declared CO2 a Pollutant, and the Supreme Court claims that the EPA has the power to regulate Green House gases, the EPA seems to have unlimited Power.

Senate Bill Passed : Harry Reid Mistakenly Voted NO
According to an Article on Politico.com, the Senate Passed their version of the Health Care Bill along party lines, 60-39.
But the Event was not without some humor:
"Clearly exhausted, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid mistakenly voted no before changing his vote to yes, which got a laugh in the chamber, especially from Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell.
After the vote, Reid joked, "I spent a very restless night last night trying to figure out how I could show some bipartisanship and I think I was able to accomplish that for a few minutes."
I'm Glad Harry Reid thinks that passing a Bill that will Destroy the Private insurance industry is something to be laughed at.....
The Rest of us are so Pissed Off all we can see is a Road to when we know longer have to say "Senator Harry Reid"....
