According to an Article on the Russian News, Pravda, the EU needs to develop it's own "Joint All-European Army" so that they can Cast Off the Shackles of the United States. Here is Apart of the Article:
"The European Union needs the joint all-European army. The subject surfaced in the beginning of the 1990s, when European countries realized the scale of global changes after the fall of the iron curtain.

The US administration is very negative about the idea. The question about the all-European army was pushed into the background after the Balkan war, when European armies were acting within the framework of KFOR and NATO. The USA believed that one needed to strengthen NATO, and everyone agreed. France was trying to show resistance to it, but after the nation became a full-fledged member of NATO on Sarkozy’s initiative, the French administration forgot about the creation of the all-European army too.

Things changed in 2009. The European Parliament established the Rapid Deployment Force of the European Union in 2009. Last week, officials of the Italian administration put forward a suggestion to look into the matter of the European Army again. Italy’s Foreign Minister Franco Frattini stated that Europe needed the army to deepen the European integration, optimize the spending on military operation in NATO and repulse possible threats.

It is worthy of note that every European country, which participates in the military operation in Afghanistan, has to maintain its contingent with arms and military hardware, although there can be bilateral agreements reached at this point. Europe could have a more rational approach to the issue once the continent has the joint army. For example, one country would supply tanks, another one – fighter jets, another one – communication systems, etc.

The European Union has a more important reason for creating the army. Europe wants to increase its weight in the world and turn into a real center of influence. Europe has not been happy with its role of America’s minor partner, not to mention its position of a subordinate member in NATO.

European leaders are also concerned about the global political revival of Asia and Africa. However, the biggest risk factor appeared with the creation of the union between the United States and China. Europe decided to create its Rapid Deployment Force soon after the presentation of the G2 project. Furthermore, the idea to create the joint EU Army was voiced against the background of the discussion of Obama’s visit to China.

If the USA and China unite into the G2, they will create the Pacific axis, and the Atlantic Alliance will be forgotten. The interests of America’s foreign policy has taken a different turn – to the East, which means that Europe must take care of its security."

Chavez, The Chinese Communist Party and Other "Leftest" Attended the "First International Meeting of Parties of the Left"
The Communist News, People's World, is reporting that Chavez attened and spoke at the First International Meeting of Parties of the Left.
While it was not attened by anyone in the Obama Administration, it was attended by the Chinese Communist Party. Here is the Article:
"If nothing else, the "First International Meeting of Parties of the Left" in Caracas last week was ambitious. Heeding the call by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez for a fifth socialist international, participants set in motion planning for a founding session next April in Caracas.

They were called upon to respond, also, to new threats from U.S. imperialism. Colombian Senator Piedad Cordoba, a Liberal Party member, ended the meeting by urging support for protests worldwide Dec. 12-17 against new U.S. bases in Colombia.

A working group was established to prepare for the April meeting, particularly for ideological discussion. That gathering is timed to the 200th anniversary that month of a rebel government taking power in Caracas. Now it's the socialists' turn to organize a "solidarity based" society, declared Nicolás Maduro, the Venezuelan foreign minister.

Last week's meeting took place over three days at the state-owned Hotel Alba, formerly the Caracas Hilton, dedicated now to "socialist tourism." A "Commitment of Caracas" coming out of the gathering set forth six overall goals. The document contained three "Special Declarations." One demanded an end to the U.S. anti-Cuban blockade and release of the Cuban Five, and another, mobilization for a "world vigil" on Nov. 29, election day under the "Honduran dictatorship." The third declaration called for convening of the fifth socialist international (The First International was the one that Marx and Engels participated in, the second was the grouping of Socialist parties prior to the First World War, the third was the Communist International (COMINTERN) established after the Russian Revolution, and the "Fourth International" brought together followers of Leon Trotsky).

President Chavez called the conference outcome "ratification that Bolivarian Venezuela is not alone," especially with mounting U. S. and European media hostility, U. S. bases in Colombia, and Colombian paramilitary forays crossing into Venezuela. Piedad Cordoba urged upon the meeting "absolute backing" for Venezuela's Bolivarian revolution so that Chavez not be "cornered." She held up his role in the transition to socialism as crucial.

"I assume the responsibility before the world," said Chavez introducing his proposal for a fifth international. In contrast with the European orientation of previous internationals, he explained, this one would have roots in Latin America, incubator of present-day socialism. Chavez cautioned that as the fifth international confronts both imperialism and capitalism, it must steer clear of errors that undid 20th century versions of socialism. Welcoming ideological debate, he argued that "socialism of the 21st century'' will be determined by the history and needs of individual nations.

The Venezuelan Communist Party (PCV) joined other Communist parties present in withholding approval for a new socialist international on grounds that world Communist parties are already acting in concert through yearly meetings of communist and workers' parties organized from Greece. On its Popular Tribune web site, the PCV backed common struggle against "terror and the looming military threat," specifically a "broad, continental anti-imperialist front," a project that non-socialists would also join.

A fifth international, however, is another matter. The PCV took exception to the ideological scatter of the left parties represented in Caracas and involvement even of right-wing parties, notably the Institutional Revolutionary Party of Mexico and Argentina's Justicialist Party, which includes Peronists of every kind.

Some non-Communist left formations - for example, Germany's Die Linke, France's Parti de Gauche, the Alternative Democratic Pole of Colombia (which includes the Colombian Communist Party and others), and the Brazilian Workers Party - were favorably disposed, but postponed approval. Communist Party USA National Chair Says: "President Obama’s election has made a difference, and the progressive movement has space to dream again"
Sam Webb, the Communist Party USA National Chair wrote a report to the Communist Party National Committee.
In this Report he talks about how President Obama's Election has allowed the 'Progressives" to Dream again. You Know, the Progressives like Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton. The Same Progressive wing of the Democrat Party that was spawned from the Communist Party USA in the 1950's.

"Slightly over a year ago, the American people elected a young African American to the presidency and increased the Democratic majority in the Congress. President Obama’s victory represented a repudiation of right-wing ideology, politics and economics and a setback for neoliberalism in both its conservative and liberal skins.

This victory was a long time in coming. When it finally happened it did so not only because of the brilliance of the candidate, but also due to the broad shoulders of a people’s coalition.
.
The swing in the political pendulum ushered in the possibility of a new era. After 30 years of right-wing dominance, the balance of political power tilted once again in a progressive direction.
.
Though that tilt wasn’t far enough for a people’s agenda to be easily enacted, political advantage did shift, and that’s no small accomplishment.
.
Perhaps it is obvious, but if McCain and Palin had been elected, a public option would not be in the center of the conversation — in fact, health care reform wouldn’t even be on the agenda. The Employee Free Choice Act would be off labor’s wish list. The stimulus package would be far smaller and unemployment much higher. There would not be a Puerto Rican woman on the Supreme Court. Our government would be actively supporting the coup regime in Honduras, and relations with Cuba would be frozen or worse. Legislation extending hate crimes to include anti-gay violence would still be on the ‘to do’ list. And not a word would have been mentioned about the abolition of nuclear weapons.

In short, President Obama’s election has made a difference, and the progressive movement has space to dream again. There are limits and obstacles to be sure, but what should frame our outlook are hope and possibility. The great reformer of the 20th century, Rev. Martin Luther King, taught us this lesson.

The purpose of this discussion paper is to assess where the country and world are a year after the election, refine our strategic and tactical policies, outline some practical actions, and discuss our role in a very complex situation.

The world, it is generally acknowledged, has been torn loose from the old moorings that for decades structured life for billions of people.
.
This unhinging began with the Volcker “shock” in 1979 (when Federal Reserve Bank chairman Paul Volcker lifted interests rates to nearly 20 per cent), the election of Reagan a year later, and the meltdown of the Soviet Union at decade’s end. But it reached a new stage with the rise of China, India, and Brazil, the resurgence of Russia, the social transformations in Venezuela and other Latin American countries; the Iraq war, and the recent world financial and economic crisis.
.
At the time of the Soviet collapse, defenders of U.S. imperialism declared U.S. imperial power was preeminent and that would remain the case, far into the 21st century. But obviously they badly misread the tealeaves. Though still dominant, the limits of U.S. power are narrowing and a multi-polar world is taking shape.
.
It is easy to imagine China rivaling the U.S. on the world scene. To go a step further and predict a civilizational re-centering from Europe and America to Asia, with all its implications, isn’t out of the question either. (Although, it should be added that while trends are instructive, they become less so as they stretch far into the future. History can, and usually does, surprise.)
.
This transitional period, some theorists of international relations say, will bring instability, even chaos, and we should not dismiss this out of hand. In earlier periods, conflict, crisis, and war scarred the landscape as once dominant states declined and new ambitious rivals sought to take their place. Such rivalry turned the first half of the 20th century into a bloody and barbaric era.
.
At the same time, the past doesn’t have to be prelude to the future. People and nations do learn. Historical memory can be a force for progress. The vast majority of humankind strongly desires an easing of tensions, an end to violence, and the normalization of international relations.
.
They want dialogue, negotiation, and a cooperative effort to address climate change, nuclear weapons proliferation, finite natural resources, swelling poverty and disease and broad-based and sustainable economic growth — not threats, war, and uneven economic development.
.
All of these challenges require speedy collective action. The global talk is ticking
While rivalry between states — especially in a multi-polar world — is built into the world system, the appetite and ambition of our imperialism constitutes the main obstacle to cooperation, peace, and equality.
A less malleable world
U.S. imperialism so far has been reluctant to yield ground to subordinate classes, nations, and regions entwined in the global world order. But reluctance is one thing; capacity to enforce your will is another.
.
U.S. imperialism doesn’t have the same reserves and legitimacy as it had in the second half of the 20th century, its global power is far more circumscribed and collective resistance to the re-imposition of old imperial relationships, dressed in new forms, comes from many different quarters, including from the American people. Hundreds of millions are insisting that the new century not be a rerun of the second half of the old, in which a single country and its allies largely determined the path of global political and economic development. Such a path was unjust, unsustainable, and unacceptable then and is more so now. The world is far less malleable to the architects of imperial rule.
.
The current worldwide economic crisis has reinforced these sentiments. The turn to neoliberalism, financialization, and hyper globalization three decades ago not only resulted in financial and economic ruin on a world scale, but also, it is commonly understood, originated on Wall Street and in Washington.
.
Thus the global economic crisis has amplified the insistence of people worldwide that a new economic order be constructed — shorn of U.S. dominance. Not everybody is having it, especially in the seats of imperial power. Some want to reconstruct the old order, while some others are for minor changes that would not undercut in any significant way the dominant position of the U.S.
.
The outcome of this struggle is still to be decided in the decades ahead. And like everything else, it will be determined as much by human actions as the evolution of broader objective processes.
.
And given the immediacy of global challenges, history has to be speeded up. This is where humankind again comes in."

Health Bill To Cover Illegals
According to an Article in the Washington times, the Health Care Bill will cover Illegals.
Both Bills in the House and Senate are worded so that Employed Illegals will get Coverage:
"The House bill mandates, and the Senate bill strongly encourages, businesses to extend health care coverage to all employees. But the bills do not have exemptions to screen out illegal immigrants, who usually obtain jobs by using false identities and are indistinguishable from legal workers."
The Center for Immigration Studies suggests that over 1 Million Illegals could obtain Health Insurance through their Employers.

Too Fat to Graduate College
The New Assault on Fat People has spread to a new level.
According to an Article on BBC.com, Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, has a new course for those with a Body Mass Index(BMI) over 30.
Those that are deemed "overweight" are sanctioned by the College to take a class that includes Pilate's, Exercises and Fitness games. If a Student fails to complete the course, and still doesn't have a BMI of 30 or under, then they will fail to graduate.
Professor James L Deboy head of the Health, Physical Education and recreational Department of Lincoln University says that around 30 students are not likley to pass:
"Around 15% of the Student population each fall has failed to earn a BMI of less than 30," he told the BBC World Service. "So we anticipate two dozen not being able to complete the course."
Many students have expressed their anger and claim the the College has no Business sticking their nose in what the students perceive as their personal business.

According to an Article on BBC.com, Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, has a new course for those with a Body Mass Index(BMI) over 30.
Those that are deemed "overweight" are sanctioned by the College to take a class that includes Pilate's, Exercises and Fitness games. If a Student fails to complete the course, and still doesn't have a BMI of 30 or under, then they will fail to graduate.
Professor James L Deboy head of the Health, Physical Education and recreational Department of Lincoln University says that around 30 students are not likley to pass:
"Around 15% of the Student population each fall has failed to earn a BMI of less than 30," he told the BBC World Service. "So we anticipate two dozen not being able to complete the course."
Many students have expressed their anger and claim the the College has no Business sticking their nose in what the students perceive as their personal business.
But Professor Deboy says that Drastic Times call for Drastic Measures, since the United States is in the Midst of an "Obesity Epidemic".

Hacked E-Mails From "Global Warming" Research Unit Shows Warming is a Farce
It seems that the Global Warming Scientists have been tweaking their data to show that temperatures are Rising.
According to an Article on the Telegraph UK.com, some of these E-mails are very Damning to the cause of Global Warming. Here is apart of that Article:

But perhaps the most damaging revelations – the scientific equivalent of the Telegraph’s MPs’ expenses scandal – are those concerning the way Warmist scientists may variously have manipulated or suppressed evidence in order to support their cause.
Here are a few tasters. (So far, we can only refer to them as alleged emails because – though Hadley CRU’s director Phil Jones has confirmed the break-in to Ian Wishart at the Briefing Room – he has yet to fess up to any specific contents.) But if genuine, they suggest dubious practices such as:
Manipulation of evidence:
"I’ve just completed Mike’s Nature trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years (ie from 1981 onwards) amd from 1961 for Keith’s to hide the decline."
Private doubts about whether the world really is heating up:
"The fact is that we can’t account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can’t."
The CERES data published in the August BAMS 09 supplement on 2008 shows there should be even more warming:
"but the data are surely wrong. Our observing system is inadequate."
Suppression of evidence:
"Can you delete any emails you may have had with Keith re AR4?
Keith will do likewise. He’s not in at the moment – minor family crisis.
Can you also email Gene and get him to do the same? I don’t have his new email address.

Fantasies of violence against prominent Climate Sceptic scientists:

Attempts to disguise the inconvenient truth of the Medieval Warm Period (MWP):
"……Phil and I have recently submitted a paper using about a dozen NH records that fit this category, and many of which are available nearly 2K back–I think that trying to adopt a timeframe of 2K, rather than the usual 1K, addresses a good earlier point that Peck made w/ regard to the memo, that it would be nice to try to “contain” the putative “MWP”, even if we don’t yet have a hemispheric mean reconstruction available that far back…."
And, perhaps most reprehensibly, a long series of communications discussing how best to squeeze dissenting scientists out of the peer review process. How, in other words, to create a scientific climate in which anyone who disagrees with AGW can be written off as a crank, whose views do not have a scrap of authority.
“This was the danger of always criticising the skeptics for not publishing in the “peer-reviewed literature”. Obviously, they found a solution to that–take over a journal! So what do we do about this? I think we have to stop considering “Climate Research” as a legitimate peer-reviewed journal. Perhaps we should encourage our colleagues in the climate research community to no longer submit to, or cite papers in, this journal. We would also need to consider what we tell or request of our more reasonable colleagues who currently sit on the editorial board…What do others think?”

H1N1 Vaccine Recalled Due to Allergy Risk
According to an Article on Fox News, the Rush to create the H1N1 vaccine has led to a problem in at least one batch:
"The pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline says it has advised medical staff in Canada to not use one batch of swine flu vaccine for fear it may trigger life-threatening allergies.
GlaxoSmithKline spokeswoman Gwenan White said Tuesday the company issued the advice after reports that one batch of the swine flu vaccine might have caused more allergic reactions than normal.
She says the affected batch contains 172,000 doses of the vaccine. She declined to say how many doses had been administered before the advice to stop using them was given.
White says GlaxoSmithKline wrote to Canadian healthcare professionals advising them to stop using the batch on Nov. 18. She says a total of 7.5 million doses of the vaccine have been distributed in Canada."

Obama To Push Cap and Trade by Announcing Target for Cutting CO2 Emissions
It seems that while everyone in the U.S. is watching the Health Care Bill, the President is working on the Cap and Trade Bill.
According to an Article on BBC news, President Obama plans on announcing cuts for CO2 Emissions before the Climate Summit in Copenhagen. These "Cuts" will be in line with the Cap and Trade Bill that is currently in the Senate.
President Obama is working with Senate Leaders to make sure what ever promises he makes at the Copenhagen Climate Summit will be mad into a reality in the Senate.
So it appears that Cap and Trade isn't dead, as the President would like us to believe. The Democrats were just waiting for the perfect excuse to force it on the American People.

Mother Believes that the Government Should Pay for Her 14 Year Old Son's Sex Change
Ever heard of Entitlement? Well in the UK, their Socialized Medicine Program has created Generations of Spoiled Brits.
According to an Article in the Daily Mail, a 41 Year Old Mother thinks that the British National Health Service(NHS) should pay for her sons Hormone Blockers so that he won't turn into a man:
"The mother of a 14-year-old boy who is desperate to undergo sex change treatment has hit out at the NHS for refusing to give him hormone blockers.
She wants her son to receive the medication now to stop his adolescence from progressing.
By the time the youngster, who wears make-up and dresses like a girl, turns 18 it will be too late for him to look like a woman, the mother believes.
'With his puberty suspended, he wouldn't grow to six foot and have big hands,' the mother-of-three told The Sun.
'It should be available on the NHS.'"
People are being denied cancer Treatments in the UK by the NHS and this self centered Twit thinks that her son's Sex Change should be covered by the Tax Payers.

Britian's National Health Service to Pay for Marriage Counseling But is Rationing Cancer Treatments
If anyone has a Doubt that a Public Health Care System leads to Government Rationing Health Care all anyone has to do is look to England for Proof.
According to an Article on the Telegraph.UK, the National Health Service(NHS) has declared a Troubled Marriage an "illness" which will require the Government to pay for Marriage Counseling.
But what has outraged so many Britons is that while NHS is going to Pay for Marriage Counseling they are denying other more important Treatments for Disease like Cancer:
"The NHS is expected to pay existing marriage guidance services, and newly-trained counsellors to provide the therapy.
Doctors and patients groups last night attacked the recommendation, contained in guidance by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). NICE has repeatedly come under fire for decisions to reject life-extending drugs for cancer and treatment to reduce symptoms of dementia.
On Thursday, NICE was accused by charities of "condemning patients" to an early death by rejecting the use of Nexavar, a drug which can extend the lives of liver cancer, arguing that its £9 million annual cost – £3,000 a month per patient – could not be justified.
Nick James, professor of clinical oncology at the Cancer Research UK Institute for Cancer Studies said: "I am horrified, in particular because of the way these decisions are taken without public debate.
"I think most people would say treatment for those who are sick with cancer should be top of our list, and I would really question whether these kinds of efforts to preserve marriages are a matter for the state."
Supporters of the "Public Option" in the U.S. Health Care bill say that Private Health Insurance Companies already "ration" Health Care since they already deny Treatment to Patients because of cost.
But what they fail to mention is that currently people can sue a Private Insurance Company after such an action is taken and force the Company to Cover the Denied Procedure.
But when the Government starts to Ration your Health Care, the Decision will be final and not subject to a lawsuit.
So when the Death Panel denies your Cancer Treatment, like in the UK, and Pays for marriage Counseling instead. Guess What..

Two Terrorists and Former Guantanamo Bay Inmates Freed by Algeria
According to an Article on BBC, two Guantanamo Bay Inmates that were shipped to Algeria from the American Prison after President Obama announced the Controversial Prison's Closing this year.
These two Terrorists were arrested in Afghanistan by Police and held for 7 Years at Guantanamo Bay.
But like President Obama, the Algerians tried the Two Terrorists in a Civilian Court and found the Two Men Not Guilty, even though the Algerians Prosecutor was pushing for 20 Year Sentences.

Russian Priest Assassinated Due to Anti-Muslim Teachings
According to the Online News Source Pravda, Russian Orthodox Priest Daniil Sysoyev was shot in the Head and Neck because of his Anti-Muslim Teachings Investigators say. Here is Apart of the Article from Pravda:
"Orthodox Priest Daniil Sysoyev was assassinated in Moscow at night of November 19. The crime was most likely committed for religious reasons. The priest might have fallen the victim of Islamic radicals or sectarians, investigators say.

The unidentified assassin was wearing a doctor’s mask when he attacked the priest, Interfax reports. The criminal entered Holy Apostle Foma Temple in the south of Moscow on Thursday night, at about 10:40 p.m. It was a well-built tall man, eye-witnesses said. The eyewitnesses said that the man was of the Caucasian origin, although it is not clear yet, how they could come to such a conclusion.

The man rushed into the temple and shouted: “Who is Sysoyev here?” The 35-year-old priest came forward, the attacker pulled out a gun with a silencer and shot him in the neck and in the head. The assassin left the crime scene walking – he was not running.

Father Daniil died at hospital about an hour later. The priest had a wife and three children.

Daniil Sysoyev was born on January 12, 1974 in Moscow. He graduated from the Moscow Spiritual Academy. The priest was mostly dealing with missionary activities. He particularly founded a school for street preachers in Moscow.

Sysoyev also was an active opponent to Muslims. For example, he conducted two public disputes with former Orthodox priest Vyacheslav Polosin, who converted to Islam. Sysoyev published a book “Marriage with a Muslim” in which he wrote that God and the Church condemned marriages concluded with Christians and non-Christians.

Radical religious groups started threatening Daniil Sysoyev four years ago. They were sending emails threatening him to “cut his head off and let his guts out”. It was also reported that Islamic groups had sentenced the Orthodox priest to death. Last year, a Muslim man called the temple, in which Sysoyev was serving, and said that the priest would be killed if he continued to publicly express his negative attitude to Islam.

President's "Grass Roots" Group Fear Sarah Palin?
I was always under the impression that Sarah Palin was considered a big Joke to those on the Left. But according to an E-Mail from the President's "Grass Roots" Group, she is something to fear. Here is the E-Mail:
"Right now, Sarah Palin is on a highly publicized, nationwide book tour, attacking President Obama and his plan for health reform at every turn.

It's dangerous. Remember, this is the person who coined the term "Death Panels" -- and opened the flood gates for months of false attacks by special interests and partisan extremists.

Whatever lie comes next will be widely covered by the media, then constantly echoed by right-wing attack groups and others who are trying to defeat reform.

As we approach the final sprint on health reform, we can't afford more deception and delay. We need to be ready for anything -- and have the resources to respond with ads, events, and calls to Congress when the attacks come.

Follow the Bread Crumbs Part II: Public Allies

I will begin this new Article where I left off on the last one, with a Man named Paul Schimtz. As I mentioned before, Paul Schmitz is the CEO of Public Allies and Admits to knowing the Communist and former Green Jobs Czar, Van Jones. Also it is known that he worked with the First Lady, Michelle Obama since they were both original faculty members of the Asset-Based Community Development Institute at Northwestern University. Not to mention that they both worked for Public Allies.
Paul Schmitz also worked on President Obama's Transition Team as a member of the "Innovation and Civil Society Team". Here is a video from Change.gov where Paul Schmitz talks about "Service":

Paul Schmitz is not the only Person in Public Allies that knows the First Lady.
The founder of Public Allies is a Woman by the name of Vannessa Kirsch.
Vannessa Kirsch began Public Allies in 1991 which was a Youth-Service program in Washington D.C. She Graduated from Tuft College but wasn't admitted because of her Good Grades, Just the Opposite. During an Interview she admits that Her Grades were Terrible, but she wrote a Heart Felt Letter to the Dean of Admissions:
"Everybody told me that I wasn't going to get into the school that I wanted to attend," Kirsch says. "I wrote to Tufts, 'Look, my scores are terrible. But I really want to go to Tufts.' It was a heartfelt letter. I just wanted them to know how badly I wanted to get in -- and I did."
Kirsch also served on the Micheal Dukakis Presidential Campaign in 1988.
In 1996 Vanessa Kirsch also created an organization called New Profit Inc. New Profit Inc is a "Consulting Firm" for Non-for-Profit organizations. A member of New Profit Inc will sit on the Board of Directors to ensure that the Non-For-Profit stays on on target and Gets "groomed" properly.
In an Article written by Kirsch titled "The Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship", She lays out the case for more Government involvement in "Service" programs and "Social entrepreneurs":
"In partnership with government, social entrepreneurs can augment their ability to generate and implement transformative, cost-effective solutions to the most challenging societal problems facing our nation and the world. According to Vanessa Kirsch, president of New Profit Inc. and co-chair of America Forward, “Every day, social entrepreneurs are developing and implementing innovative solutions to meet our country's domestic challenges, and they are achieving greater results with fewer resources. Just as public investment has supported major initiatives in the past, a future president—and other city, state, and federal administrations—can support social entrepreneurs and their effective solutions and, in doing so, effect measurable change in our nation.”
The Three things that Vanessa Feels that the Politicians should work from in order to bring about Social Change are:
• Lay the foundation for a new era of social entrepreneurship.
• Set policy to enable and encourage social entrepreneurship.
• Develop financial and non-financial resources for social entrepreneurship.
Kirsch not only Talks the Talk when it comes to Government helping "Service" Programs, but she Walks the Walk, since Public Allies receives quite a Bit of help through the Governmental funded organization Americorp. Earlier this year the President signed into law the Kennedy Serve America Act. This Bill spawned alot of Controversy because it originally contained a "Mandatory Service" clause that would force your Kids to serve in a Government "Service Program" for a number of years. This Clause was removed after Millions of people became outraged and called their representatives in Washington.
One of the Organizations that supported the Controversial Mandatory Service Bill was an Organization called America Forward. According to a Blog Posting on America Forward's website, they begged it's members to help pass the Bill:

Democrat Senator Calls for New Larger Tax to pay for Troops in Afghanistan
A New kind of War has come to the Debate on Afghanistan, Class Warfare.
Normally the Democrats have limited their tactic of Class Warfare to the debate on Health care, but according to an Article in Bloomberg, all of that has changed.
Democratic Senator Carl Levin, has suggested that a New Higher income tax be levied on the "Upper Class" in order to pay for the War:
"An “additional income tax to the upper brackets, folks earning more than $200,000 or $250,000” a year, could fund more troops, Levin, a Michigan Democrat, said in an interview for Bloomberg Television’s “Political Capital With Al Hunt,” airing this weekend."
While I Agree that we need to fund our Troops at War, I differ on how to pay for it. I suggest instead of spending all of that Money on Government Health Care, why not spend it on the Troops instead in order to speed up the War, Win and bring our Troops home.
But then again, when they pass this New Tax, does anyone really think it is actually for the Troops? The Politicians are just using the Troops as an excuse to create a tax that they are going to use to make the Health Care Bill "Deficit Neutral".
Just like the money Collected for Social Security, this New Tax will never be used for the Troops but instead will go to into the "General Fund".
There will be no "Lock Box" for these New taxes Collected for the Troops....
Just like there is no "Lock Box" for Social Security.

But then again, when they pass this New Tax, does anyone really think it is actually for the Troops? The Politicians are just using the Troops as an excuse to create a tax that they are going to use to make the Health Care Bill "Deficit Neutral".
Just like the money Collected for Social Security, this New Tax will never be used for the Troops but instead will go to into the "General Fund".
There will be no "Lock Box" for these New taxes Collected for the Troops....
Just like there is no "Lock Box" for Social Security.
