The Supreme Court has decided it will make a Ruling on a Challenge to Chicago's Gun ban. The Ruling is to be made by next Summer.
This Supreme Court Ruling will decide if State and Local Gun bans can be struck down as Violating the 2nd Amendment.
That is easy, Of course they can...
The Constitution is the law of the Land. Period.
But I would not expect the Ruling to go the way of the Constitution. Do you?

Gore Vidal Says the U.S. Will Slip into a Military Dictatorship Under Obama
Gore Vidal is a novelist, essayist, and playwright who has had a Career that has spanned six decades. According to an Article on Times Online, During an interview Gore Vidal admitted to voting for Obama, but now regrets his Decision and has even said this:
"We’ll have a military dictatorship fairly soon, on the basis that nobody else can hold everything together."
Mr. Vidal follows that up with:
“Don’t ever make the mistake with people like me thinking we are looking for heroes. There aren’t any and if there were, they would be killed immediately."

Feingold To Hold a Judiciary Hearing on "Examining the History and Legality of Executive Branch 'Czars'”
According to an Article on ABC News, Senator Russ Feingold, Democrat from Wisconsin, said yesterday that he is going to Hold a Judiciary Hearing on the President's Czars. This Hearing is a Result of a Comment he made earlier:
"Earlier this month the liberal lawmaker asked the White House to identify the czars' "roles and responsibilities, and provide the judgment(s) of your legal advisors as to whether and how these positions are consistent with the Appointments Clause" in Article II, section 2 of the Constitution, which states that the President "shall nominate, and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, shall appoint ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, judges of the Supreme Court, and all other officers of the United States."
Somehow this just reeks of "Justification" for the Presidents Huge Number of Czars.
Funny though that Russ would call them Czars, the White House specifically asked Glenn Beck to call them 'Advisers'.
I guess Russ didn't get the memo.

Cap and Trade Rears it's Ugly Head in the Senate Today
Just when you though it was all about Health Care, the Administration changes things up to divert your attention.
The Senate today is expected to introduce a Bill very similar to the Cap and Trade Bill that the House passed earlier in the Year.
According to an Article in Reuters:
"The Senate Democrats' draft legislation, which was circulating on Capitol Hill, embraces major elements of a controversial bill that passed the House of Representatives in June.
Both bills would establish a "cap and trade" system for replacing dirty, polluting fossil fuels with cleaner solar, wind and other alternative energies to power factories and oil refineries and to produce electricity.
Under cap and trade, carbon dioxide emissions would drop and companies would be allowed to sell to each other the pollution permits that would control those emissions."
Round 1 on Health Care isn' t even done being fought yet and now we have to get Ready for Round 2- Cap and Trade.
Get out the Cold weather Gear and the Protest Signs, this is going to be a Long Winter.

Farmer's Daughter Kills Pakistani Militant with His Own Ak-47
According to an Article on the Telegraph.UK, the daughter of a Farmer in New Delhi, attacked a Pakistani Militant with an Ax and then Killed him with his own AK-47 after he and another man, Broke into her home.
The 21 Year old Girl, Rukhsana Kausar, was hiding under the bed when the two Men Broke into her Home:
"When they forced their way into Miss Kausar’s home, her father Noor Mohammad refused their demands and was attacked.
His daughter was hiding under a bed when she heard him crying as the gunmen thrashed him with sticks. According to police, she ran towards her father’s attacker and struck him with an axe. As he collapsed, she snatched his AK47 and shot him dead.
She also shot and wounded another militant as he made his escape.
Police have hailed the woman’s bravery.
They said she would be nominated for the president’s gallantry award."
It looks like the old saying is true No matter what country you live in...

Another Indoctrination Obama Song Stopped in North Carolina School
There was another Video Released yesterday showing Kids being indoctrinated at a Sand Hills PTA Meeting in North Carolina. According to the Examiner.com, that was not the only incident of Indoctrination in that State.
5th Graders at Jamestown Elementary in North Carolina were to sing a Song at their 2008-09 Graduation titled: "Dear Obama." Luckily, some concerned Parents Voiced their displeasure enough that the Principle ordered the 5th Grade Teacher to Not Perform the Song. But the Fact that it was going to happen, or was even considered, is deeply concerning. Especially when you read the Lyrics.

The White House, The Empire State Building and Communist Cuba Celebrate 60th Anniversary of Communist China
Tomorrow, the Communist Chinese Flag is to Fly on the White House Lawn, the Empire State Building is to be lit up in Red and Yellow Lights and the Communist Cuban News Agency has just issued an Article.
What do all of these things have in common?
They are all being done to celebrate the Communist Takeover of China 60 years ago on October 1st, 1949.
I find it interesting that the only other Countries that are celebrating the Communist Anniversary are Communists/Socialist in nature.
What does that tell you about this country or it's Future?

"Since the foundation of the People’s Republic of China sixty years ago, on October 1st, 1949, the economy of this nation, under the direction Chinese Communist Party, has become a model of prosperity.
This Asian country has turned into a key driving force for the planet’s economic development. For example, from 1979 to 2007, it registered an annual economic growth of 9.8 percent, which is 6.8 percent higher than the world average; and its contribution to the global economy increased from 2.3 percent in 1978 to 14.5 percent in 2006, only behind the United States.
Thanks to its enormous development, China plays an important role in the main international markets and its influence increases by the day. For many experts, its economic success is almost a miracle in Asia and the world.
In this regard, during an exclusive interview with the Cuban News Agency, the Chinese Ambassador to Havana, Zhao Rongxian, said, “The Chinese people have chosen the path of Socialism because we believe that it is the most convenient and advisable one as it responds to the needs of the historical process of China. Only Socialism can save and promote its development. Our goal is to build a prosperous, civilized, democratic and harmonious country.”
And, indeed, the Chinese people have plenty of reasons to celebrate when we look back at the past six decades of this country, the most populated of the planet with more than 1.3 billion inhabitants, and the fourth regarding territorial extension.

Ambassador Rongxian explained that after the foundation of the People’s Republic of China, during the 1949-1980 period, they went from a planned economy to a process of opening-up and reform that allowed them to establish a so-called market socialist economy.
“We believe that this system can revitalize and bring new dynamics to the economy and the social and economic development of the country,” he stressed.
After recalling the existence of active foreign forces against a prosperous and powerful China, the diplomat added that the strategic program designed in the early 1980s until the year 2050 aims at transforming the highly populated socialist State into a country of middle development.
In fact, all expectations have been far exceeded and the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita quadrupled from 1980 to 2000. In this respect, Rongxian said that while the goal for 2020 is to reach $3,200 of income per capita, last year the figure was $3,000.
“We want a more comfortable society for our people and we are convinced that we are on the right track,” he added.
According to institutions of the Asian nation, China’s GDP in 2008 was 400 times higher than in 1952 and its economy was the fourth in the world (above Italy, France and the United Kingdom).
Meanwhile, the Chinese diplomat noted that the current world financial and economic crisis also affected the development of his country, which carried out a series of measures to make its economy more dynamic.
In this regard, he explained that the Chinese central government implemented a package of economic stimulation amounting to four trillion yuans ($584 billion) to promote domestic demand and to maintain a rapid and steady rise in the current context.
Rongxian stated that during the first half of the year, they reached an economic growth of 7.1 percent and they are convinced that they will finish 2009 with an annual growth of 8 percent.
Of course, we remain loyal to the principles of Marxism-Leninism, the socialist system and the leadership of the Communist Party with the people at the center of our attention.

During the past sixty years, what used to be a poor and backward nation has become a prosperous and powerful country, respected by the main western capitalist powers.
Ambassador Rongxian explained that after the foundation of the People’s Republic of China, during the 1949-1980 period, they went from a planned economy to a process of opening-up and reform that allowed them to establish a so-called market socialist economy.
“We believe that this system can revitalize and bring new dynamics to the economy and the social and economic development of the country,” he stressed.
After recalling the existence of active foreign forces against a prosperous and powerful China, the diplomat added that the strategic program designed in the early 1980s until the year 2050 aims at transforming the highly populated socialist State into a country of middle development.
In fact, all expectations have been far exceeded and the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita quadrupled from 1980 to 2000. In this respect, Rongxian said that while the goal for 2020 is to reach $3,200 of income per capita, last year the figure was $3,000.
“We want a more comfortable society for our people and we are convinced that we are on the right track,” he added.
According to institutions of the Asian nation, China’s GDP in 2008 was 400 times higher than in 1952 and its economy was the fourth in the world (above Italy, France and the United Kingdom).
Meanwhile, the Chinese diplomat noted that the current world financial and economic crisis also affected the development of his country, which carried out a series of measures to make its economy more dynamic.
In this regard, he explained that the Chinese central government implemented a package of economic stimulation amounting to four trillion yuans ($584 billion) to promote domestic demand and to maintain a rapid and steady rise in the current context.
Rongxian stated that during the first half of the year, they reached an economic growth of 7.1 percent and they are convinced that they will finish 2009 with an annual growth of 8 percent.
Of course, we remain loyal to the principles of Marxism-Leninism, the socialist system and the leadership of the Communist Party with the people at the center of our attention.

Obama Administration Has Cleared 75 so Far From Guantanamo for Release
In what was once the epicenter for Holding the most Dangerous Terrorists, Guantanamo now appears to be the Place for "Forgive and Forget".
According to an Article in Reuters, the Administration has cleared 75 of the 223 Guantanamo Prisoners for Release in it's effort to hurry up and Close the Prison. The Review Team, appointed by the Administration, at Guantanamo is:
"examining each prisoner's case to decide who will be held for trial and who can be sent home or resettled in other nations."
The irony of this is that quite a few of the Guantanamo Prisoners so far released have rejoined the Forces fighting Coalition Forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Which makes senses since those in Guantanamo:
"Most were captured in Afghanistan and Pakistan after U.S. troops invaded Afghanistan in 2001 to oust al Qaeda in response to the September 11 hijacked plane attacks on the United States."

Priorities? School District Upset that Kids Singing Obama Song Were Video Taped, Not Upset that they were singing Brainwashing Song.
According to a Fox News Article, the New Jersey School District, where 18 Kids were Video taped being forced to sing a song Praising Obama, is upset that the Kids were Video taped in the First place, not about the Song.
In what has to be the most screwed up set of Priorities, the Superintendent of Schools has said:
"We are carefully evaluating what occurred and will implement any additional needed procedures to prevent children's images in school from being publicly posted without permission," Manno wrote on Friday. "We will also provide reasonable direction and guidelines so that classroom activities will not give the appearance of promoting a particular political perspective."
Like the Wording of the Statement? First they are more concerned about the fact that they got caught. Second they are going to try and not give the "Appearance" of a political perspective.

GrandMother Arrested for Purchasing Two Boxes of Cold Medicine
According to an Article on TribStar.com, Sally Harpold Grand mother of Triplets, was arrested for buying two boxes of Cold Medicine in A Week. The Police showed up to her house a Few weeks later:
"The morning she was arrested, Harpold and her husband were awakened by police officers banging on the front door of their home at Midway along U.S. 36. She was allowed to get dressed, and was then taken in handcuffs to the Clinton Police Department, where she was questioned about her cold medicine purchases. She was later booked into jail, and her husband had to pay $300 bail to get her released."
In the State of Indiana, there is a Law that says it is illegal to buy more than 3.0 Grams of pseudoephedrine in a weeks time. Mrs. Harpold's purchase totaled 3.6 Grams.
The Prosecutor says that ignorance of the Law is no excuse and that Mrs. Harpold did commit a Crime. The Laws Does not specify that the pseudoephedrine bought has to be used for the Making of meth. It is just illegal to buy more that 3.0 Grams in seven days..Period.
The Prosecutor says it's not her fault:
"I’m simply enforcing the law as it was written."
Mrs. Harpold is facing a class-C misdemeanor, which carries a sentence of up to 60 days in jail and up to a $500 fine.

New Government "Housing Bailout" to Cause same "Housing Bubble" that Created the Current Mess
For those that still don't understand the Housing "Bubble" and the problems it caused here is the Short version.
Years ago Congress decided to give large subsides to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac so that they could purchase "High Risk" loans from Lending institutions so that those institutions would be more likely to loan to those that couldn't afford a Home. Fannie and Freddie would then wrap these 'High Risk Loans' in with Good Loans and sell them as investment packages(Bonds) to investors around the world.
This Government supported set up created a boom in the Housing Market and established a large supply base to support it, this is what created the Housing Bubble. The Bubble was created due to the artificial Demand created by the Government's influence, not True Market Demand.
When the Bad Loans began to default in large numbers, it essentially popped the Bubble causing the Banks to stop lending and forced them to tighten up their Credit qualifications. Many Businesses, in and out of the Housing market, that relied heavily on Credit to do business, no longer could get access to credit there by causing layoffs and business closings. On top of that, add the layoffs from the housing market, the damage done to investment portfolios, the lowering Home values and the Billions of Dollars lost in Real Estate 'Speculation' and we have our current crisis.
The worst thing about this Crisis is as businesses layoff more workers or close and more people default on their loans it only encourages Banks tightening up even more causing this this Crisis to Feed on itself...

The Wise thing to do would be to let the Market Correct itself and realign on a True Market Demand Driven Economy. But that isn't Politically Pretty, which is why they Government did the Fiscally Irresponsible Bailouts.

This Crisis happened because the Government wanted people who couldn't afford a Home to be able to get one. You would think that the Politicians would have learned from their First mistake, but it appears otherwise.
According to an Article on CBS news, the Federal Government is now looking at a "Bailout" for the Housing market. This bailout will come in the form of $35 Billion Dollars: $20 Billion would buy Housing "Bonds" from Freddie and Fannie and $10 Billion Would be so that lending agencies could provide low-rate mortgages to first-time home buyers and low-income buyers.
What is odd is that the Federal Government now Own Fannie and Freddie...So can they Buy Bonds from ..themselves? Is that like Monetizing the Debt(Where the Government Buys it's Own Bonds)?

"We find it dismaying that the Chamber neglects the indisputable fact that a decisive majority of experts have said the data on global warming are compelling and point to a threat that cannot be ignored. In our opinion, an intellectually honest argument over the best policy response to the challenges of climate change is one thing; disingenuous attempts to diminish or distort the reality of these challenges are quite another."
What was the Extreme View that the COC had on the Subject of Climate Change? Well according to the Article:
"theChamber’s late August challenge to the Environmental Protection Agency to hold a public hearing on the scientific evidence for human-induced climate change."
How Dare they! The U.S. Chamber of Commerce wanted to have a Public hearing on the Scientific Evidence on Climate Change!!! Thats CRAZY!
Why would PG&E have such an attitude over a Public Hearing? Well it is worthy to notice that the Senior Vice President of Public Affairs for PG&E just happens to be a Board Member of the Apollo Alliance. In July of this Year, 200 Ultra Wealthy and Ultra Progressive People signed a Petition and sent it to President Obama, saying that they will support the repeal of President Bush's Tax Cuts in 2011.
These 200 Ultra Leftest formed a Group called "Wealth for the Common Good". This Group, according to the Webiste:

Wealth for the Common Good, which represents many of these individuals, was organized to help rebalance our economic system. Our goal is to contribute to the public debate on taxes and support President Obama and Congress in creating a more progressive tax code."
"Shared Prosperity' is another term for 'Wealth redistribution', which is a Communist Ideal.
What I find Ironic is that one of the Original Members of the "Wealth For the Common Good" is Drummund Pike. Drummund Pike is the Founder and CEO of Tides INC. , a Progressive Organization determined to "Change" the United States. George Soros, the Ultra Wealthy Leftest Progressive, has also served on the Tides INC Board.
Tides INC has a Division called the Apollo Alliance. The Apollo Alliance admits on it's website that they had alot to do with the 'American Recovery and Reinvestment Act' that was signed by President Obama. As you can read here, since they make no attempt to hide it on their Website, under their "Achievements" section:

President Obama Pushes to Keep Your Kids in School Longer, Away From You
According to an Article in the AP, President Obama is suggesting we "Change" the education system by making School Days and the School Year Longer. The Reason He gives for this is as Flimsy as the Indoctrination Movie in Schools, "The Story of Stuff".
President Obama claims that Kids need to go to School longer because Kids in other Countries Go to School Longer. That is an Outright Lie. Even the AP in the Article Points out that the Other Countries that are doing better than the U.S. in Education Do Not Have their Kids spend more time in School:
"Kids in the U.S. spend more hours in school (1,146 instructional hours per year) than do kids in the Asian countries that persistently outscore the U.S. on math and science tests — Singapore (903), Taiwan (1,050), Japan (1,005) and Hong Kong (1,013). For a Communist/Progressive Government to succeed it must take the Job of Raising Children away from the Parents. That would involve banning Homeschooling(Which has already been done in most European Countries) and making sure that All Kids Must be removed from the influence of their Parents. Short of seizing the Children and putting them into Boot camps(Or by having Your Kids be Forced into Government Service Programs by Mandatory 'Volunteering' which the Government tried to do at the Beginning of the Year in the "Service Bill"), the Next best thing is to make sure they spend more time during the day being Indoctrinated, all year around...Away from the Influence of their Parents.
But for some Readers, that Idea may seem to "Conspiratorial"......
Of Course in order to Believe that it's a 'Conspiracy' you would have to think that having your Kids Watch the Anti-Capitalist Video, the "Story of Stuff"(Which is in 7,000 Schools already), having Kids be forced to Sing Pro-Obama Songs(Like the School Kids in New Jersey) and Having the Government Teach Your Kids about Global Warming and the Environment(In a Program that is going around to 6,000 Schools) isn't Indoctrination.....

President Obama claims that Kids need to go to School longer because Kids in other Countries Go to School Longer. That is an Outright Lie. Even the AP in the Article Points out that the Other Countries that are doing better than the U.S. in Education Do Not Have their Kids spend more time in School:
"Kids in the U.S. spend more hours in school (1,146 instructional hours per year) than do kids in the Asian countries that persistently outscore the U.S. on math and science tests — Singapore (903), Taiwan (1,050), Japan (1,005) and Hong Kong (1,013). Liberals Now Pushing Openly for Government Health Care for Illegals
According to an Article in the Washington Times, Liberals are now openly pushing for the Government Run Health Care to include Illegal Aliens.
Micheal M. Honda, California Democrat, said this in a 2 Page Letter with 20 other Liberals asking for the Government Plan to Cover Illegals:
"Legal permanent residents should be able to purchase their plans, and they should also be eligible for subsidies if they need it. Undocumented, if they can afford it, should be able to buy their own private plans. It keeps them out of the emergency room,"

Fox Station in Chicago Told to Not Air Anti-Olympic Story
According to an Article on the DRUDGE REPORT:

If this Story Holds True, we will have someone in the Government, connected to the White House, that is telling a Local Television Station what Stories to Run. All because the President wants the Olympics to be in Chicago.
I wonder who will be getting kickbacks from having the Olympics in Chicago? Unions? Local Chicago Politicians? Obama's Old Chicago Buddies? That Will Bear more investigation....
