Keeping Jobs in America? : Government Run General Motors Does Almost $300 Million Dollar Deal To Build Cars in China
During the Election Obama said this in a Speech in Ohio about Jobs:
"When it comes to jobs, the choice in this election is not between putting up a wall around America or standing by and doing nothing. The truth is, we won’t be able to bring back every job that we’ve lost, but that doesn’t mean we should follow John McCain’s plan to keep giving tax breaks to corporations that send American jobs overseas and promoting unfair trade agreements. I will end those breaks as President, and give them to companies that create jobs here in the United States of America."
So I guess that Means that Government Run GM isn't getting a Tax Break since they are Sending Jobs to China.
According to an Article on BBCNews.com, Government Run General Motors(GM) has signed a Deal with the Government Run Chinese Car Maker FAW to make Light Trucks and Cars.
This Deal that will create jobs in China, and Not the U.S., will cost the American Tax Payer almost $300 Million Dollars.
According to Kevin Wale, Managing Director of GM's Chinese operations:
"For us in China, this is an important complement to the rest of our portfolio. We are well established in passenger vehicles and mini commercial vehicles and we haven't had a presence in the truck segment."
So Somehow GM can't make Trucks in the U.S. and Ship them to China for Sale....Could that be due to the "Unfair Trade" that Still exists between China and the U.S.?
Nah....
The President is just trying to Keep His Promise to the Chinese People....

Obama Pay Czar Worth Almost $50 Million Dollars
I love it when the Supposed "Have Nots" have more than the "Haves". It appears that the Man who was appointed to "Restrict Income" by the President of the United States, is so Wealthy, he doesn't have to make a pay check.
According to an Article in Reuters, Kenneth Fineburg, Obama's Pay Czar, has approx $50 Million Dollars in Assets and Past income:
"Kenneth Feinberg made $5.76 million last year as a partner in his Washington law firm, Feinberg Rozen LLP, according to a government ethics filing obtained by Reuters.
And his assets, which include a stake in his law firm, two homes and dozens of investments, are worth anywhere from $11 million to $37 million, according to the filing, which places assets in broad value categories.
His homes are a $1.66 million house in Bethesda, Maryland, near Washington, and a $1.96 million vacation home in West Tisbury, Massachusetts, on Martha's Vineyard."
On top of all of this, the Article states that the "Pay Czar" has almost another $2 Million Dollars from investments, Real Estate Sales and a Settlement.
One has to wonder....
Does the Fact that the Pay Czar is Wealthy mean that he is a Hypocrite for Restricting other's Pay to Prevent them from becoming "Rich"?
Or is this just a Great Example of the "Man"....

Wealthy Supporters of the President Gather @ Union Hall to Push for "Free" Health Care : Monsterous Carbon Foot Print Created By Event
The Last Time I saw this many High End SUVs and Expensive Suits was when I stumbled accidentally into a DNC Convention. With all of the Money that the Supporters of the President have, I am Surprised that they Need "Free" Government Health Care. Besides, when you combine all of the electricity for the lights, the Gas for the Bus, and all of the Gas Guzzling SUVs at the Event, the Carbon Foot Print Alone that was created will cause the Earth to Self Destruct in 2 Years( according to Al Gore). What do the Supporters of the President need with Free Government Health Care when they are Killing us all with their Irresponsible use of the Earth's Natural resources? But I Digress....
I attended the Organizing for America Health Care Rally in St. Louis Last night. The Event was held at the IBEW Union Hall and was attended by approx 800 People. As Some of the Supporters of the President's Health Care Plan walked to get to the Union Hall, the Sound of "Tea Baggers" and "Racists" reverberated in their mists as they passed Protesters of the Event.
Approx 200 people from the St. Louis Tea Party arrived on Scene to voice their opinion against the Government Health Care Plan. Bill Hennessey was the M.C. for the Protest. The Event was peaceful, but a Union "Plant" did mix with the Tea Party Crowd and attempt to cause Trouble. But once the "Plant" realized he was being Recorded, he attempted to start Ridiculous Chants but was laughed into Silence by the Crowd (See Video Below).
One of my Fellow Bloggers, Sharp from http://www.sharpelbowsstl.blogspot.com/, infiltrated into the event even after he was "Recognized" at the Gate by a Liberal Blogger. They tried to deny him entrance but failed due to the fact that he had an RSVP in Hand. He Recorded some amazing coverage from the inside and posted it on his site.
As the Tea Party was leaving the Event about 5 Police Cars and a Paddy Wagon arrived on scene. It appears that some of the Members of Organizing for America didn't appreciate the Boisterous Tea Party Protest and was hoping to have them silenced with the use of the St. Louis Police. But as the Police approached those Tea Party Protesters that were left, they assured us not to worry and to stay as long as we like. Thank You to the St. Louis Police Officers for Defending our Right to Gather in Peaceful Protest, they were very Professional and Kind.
About a half a dozen Conservative Protesters stayed on the Corner of Elizabeth and Hampton to make sure that those leaving the Event got a Chance to read their wonderful handmade signs. I stayed to record the Group in hopes that the Camera would head off any trouble that this small group may incur. For the most part it did, but I have never been called a White Supremest, Red Neck, Tea Bagger that many times in my life(or ever). The Flock of "Birds" that accompanied these intellectually deficient observations were large enough to create several "Flocks". One Person leaving the event in their car even yelled "Hurry up and Die Smoking those Cigarettes" at a Young man enjoying an evening Smoke while holding his sign.
Ahh..Compassion at it's best....
For the most part this event was "Staged" to look as if the President's Health Care Plan has overwhelming Public support. Unfortunately the only support it is appearing to attract are the people who are told to be there....

Protest in St. Louis Sunday, August 30th 2009
This is an Alert for my regular Readers. The Same thugs, Organizing for America, that helped to cause the Threats that led to the Violence against Kenneth Gladney, are holding a rally to support the Health Care Bill today.
This rally is going to be Held at 7:00 P.M. at the IBEW ( Electrical Workers) Union Hall at 5850 Elizabeth near Hwy 44 and Hampton.
People are being asked to show up at 6:45 P.M. and to stay off IBEW property. Stay on the Sidewalk and No matter what people do to you, REMAIN PEACEFUL.
If you have a Camera or a Video Camera Please bring it, so that any and all trouble makers on either side, can be filmed and held accountable.
Myself and other Bloggers will be there to Video and report on the event.
The Opposition wants a Confrontation in order to make us look bad, We Must Not Give them One.
If you remember nothing else, Model your style of protest after Martin Luther King.

Pictures from O'Fallon MO K&N Protest
I and 250-300 People attended a "Corners Protest" in O'Fallon MO today. There is a Protest at the Corner of HWY K&N in O'Fallon MO every Saturday from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M in order to Protest the Unconstitutional expanse of Government . Part of that "growth" is illustrated in the Health Care Bill, which is what we were protesting today.
Last week at the O'Fallon Corners Protest, a couple of Counter protesters Showed up and caused trouble. The police were called and there was a Threat made that the Opposition would show up with 100 People next week. Well, they didn't show. The only Opposition I saw, was a Sign in a Car window as it drove by.
It was heartening to see so many people come out to Protest for their Freedoms and to Stand against Tyranny. Below are some Pictures I took at the Protest Today.
Even though the Event was peaceful, the Protest did get a little heated due to the fact that Lucifer showed up on scene to 'Counter protest' and Push the Health Care Bill, which he appears to take credit for....

I apologize to my readers but I had a Small family emergency today, which is why I have not posted much content. Everything is fine now.

Court Orders Home School Christian Child into Government School
According to an Article in World Net Daily(WND):
"A 10-year-old homeschool girl described as "well liked, social and interactive with her peers, academically promising and intellectually at or superior to grade level" has been told by a New Hampshire court official to attend a government school because she was too "vigorous" in defense of her Christian faith.
The decision from Marital Master Michael Garner reasoned that the girl's "vigorous defense of her religious beliefs to [her] counselor suggests strongly that she has not had the opportunity to seriously consider any other point of view."
The Government Doesn't want to control you.....lol

According to an Article in USA Today, the Federal Government is going to start a program in the Schools that Teach Your Children about the "importance of the census." How are they going to do this? Well they are going to Send:

"posters, teaching guides, maps and lesson plans to every school in the nation, Puerto Rico and U.S. island territories to encourage everyone to participate in the national count. The materials will land in more than 118,000 schools and reach 56 million students."

This School Material, of course, will leave out the Facts that this New Unconstitutional Census asks how far you drive, how many people ride in your car, even how many 'flushing toilets' you have.

The reason why the Federal Government is targeting your Children with this Propaganda, according to the Chief of the Census Schools program, Renee Jefferson-Copeland, is because:

Hard Line Liberal Democrat Calls 'Moderate Blue Dog Democrats'- "Brain Dead"
According to an Article on Breitbart.com, Pete Stark, Democrat from California, said this about his 'Moderate' Democrat Counter parts, the Blue Dog Democrats:
"They're for the most part, I hate to say, brain dead, but they're just looking to raise money from insurance companies and promote a right-wing agenda that is not really very useful in this whole process."
The Blue Dog Democrats have been standing in the way of the President's Health care plan for weeks. It appears that the "Far Lefties" in the Democratic Party has had enough of "Honest Debate."
If this is how the Democrats treat some of their own when they disagree, how can anyone believe that they would give a darn about you and Your Health care. If this is how they treat people they have known for years, people they have ate with, visited with and actually know.
Why would they care if you Die or Not?

For the First Time in the History of the United States, the Federal Government's Pay Czar is going to "Approve" the Salary of an Executive that Works for a Government Seized "Private" Corporation.
According to an Article in Reuters, the Chief Executive of AIG, Robert Benmosche, will have his Salary of $10.5 Million, approved by the Pay Czar, Kenneth Feinberg.
But Remember.....this isn't because of Communism...or Socialism...
It's a because of a "Bailout"....lol

Possible 90,000 Dead from Swine Flu? Centers for Diease Control Says...Um No.
After a Week of the White House Fear mongering on a Possible Death Toll of 90,000 from the "Swine Flu",According to an Article on CBS News, the Center for Disease Control has Countered that Claim by saying:
"Everything we've seen in the U.S. and everything we've seen around the world suggests we won't see that kind of number if the virus doesn't change.

While the swine flu seems quite easy to catch, it so far has not been more deadly than the flu strains seen every year during the cold months: many people have only mild illness. Also, close genetic tracking of the new virus as it circled the globe during the past five months so far has shown no sign that it is mutating to become more virulent."
But the White House has talked up the Fact that they hope to have enough "Swine Flu Vaccine" for Most people in the United States by Fall.
The Problem is IF the Swine Flu mutates, the Vaccine will be almost Useless since it has been created to combat the current version of the "Swine Flu."
Every Year the Regular Flu Vaccine is issued for "Certain Types" of the Flu Strain. But since it doesn't cover Flu Strains that Mutate during the Flu season, it won't help a Person build up an immunity for the Mutated Version.
So what the Government expects to accomplish by Hyping up the Death Toll and a Vaccine for the Current Swine Flu, when it won't help if the Swine Flu Mutates during the Fall, is not clear.
But some suggest maybe the Fear Mongering has something to do with Trying to Create Support for the President's Health Care Plan.
I guess this could be a Continuation of the Administrations Motto:
"Don't Let a Good Crisis Go to Waste."

Bozeman Montana Tea Party Demand Apology from Senator Baucus
According to an Article on a Local Montana CBS Station, the Bozeman Montana Tea Party is Demanding an Apology from Democratic Senator Baucus(seated in the Picture above).

The Bozeman Tea Party Claims that right after a Public Meeting with Senator Baucus, the Tea Party praised the Event by saying:

"It was a good back and forth between the crowd."
.
But later, the Senator was quoted in the Media as Saying that the People at the Event were:
.
" not civil. This was the closest thing to a mob that I've ever experienced in my life." He was also quoted in the New York Times, saying the group included "agitators, whose sole goal was to intimidate, disrupt and not let any meaningful conversation go on."

These Comments have caused the Bozeman Tea Party to Demand an Apology from the Senator. The Spokesman for the Bozeman Tea Party said:

"the protesters were gathered to oppose a government takeover of health care and said doctors, professionals, elderly individuals and children all gathered to express their concerns."

Repeated attempts to get a Comment from Senator Baucus's Office have failed.

National Endowment for the Arts to Become Obama's New "Propaganda Machine"
The First "Leader" to Create a Very Large and Extensive Propaganda Machine was Stalin. Stalin enlisted thousands of Artists to create some of the most creative and even Beautiful Propaganda to help Push the "States" Agenda. Below are some examples:

I learned after the conference call that there were approximately 75 people participating, including many well respected street-artists, filmmakers, art galleries, music venues, musicians and music producers, writers, poets, actors, independent media outlets, marketers, and various other professionals from the creative community. I suppose I was invited because of my work in creating arts initiatives, but being a former employer of the NEA’s Director of Communications was probably a factor as well.
Backed by the full weight of President Barack Obama’s call to service and the institutional weight of the NEA, the conference call was billed as an opportunity for those in the art community to inspire service in four key categories, and at the top of the list were “health care” and “energy and environment.” The service was to be attached to the President’s United We Serve campaign, a nationwide federal initiative to make service a way of life for all Americans.
The people running the conference call and rallying the group to get active on these issues were Yosi Sergant, the Director of Communications for the National Endowment for the Arts; Buffy Wicks, Deputy Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement; Nell Abernathy, Director of Outreach for United We Serve; Thomas Bates, Vice President of Civic Engagement for Rock the Vote; and Michael Skolnik, Political Director for Russell Simmons.
We were encouraged to bring the same sense of enthusiasm to these “focus areas” as we had brought to Obama’s presidential campaign, and we were encouraged to create art and art initiatives that brought awareness to these issues. Throughout the conversation, we were reminded of our ability as artists and art professionals to “shape the lives” of those around us. The now famous Obama “Hope” poster, created by artist Shepard Fairey and promoted by many of those on the phone call, and will.i.am’s “Yes We Can” song and music video were presented as shining examples of our group’s clear role in the election.
Obama has a strong arts agenda, we were told, and has been very supportive of both using and supporting the arts in creative ways to talk about the issues facing the country. We were “selected for a reason,” they told us. We had played a key role in the election and now Obama was putting out the call of service to help create change. We knew “how to make a stink,” and were encouraged to do so.
Throughout the conversation my inner dialogue was firing away questions so fast that the NRA would’ve been envious. Is this truly the role of the NEA? Is building a message distribution network, for matters other than increasing access to the arts and arts education, the role of the National Endowment for the Arts? Is providing the art community issues to address, especially those that are currently being vehemently debated nationally, a legitimate role for the NEA? I found it highly unlikely that this was in their original charter, so I checked.
The NEA was created by the Congress of the United States and President Lyndon B. Johnson in 1965 as “a public agency dedicated to supporting excellence in the arts, both new and established; bringing the arts to all Americans; and providing leadership in arts education.” The issue of health care is curiously absent from this description on their website.
So I’d like to start a little debate and ask you, the reader, the same question. Do you think it is the place of the NEA to encourage the art community to address issues currently under legislative consideration? "

According to an Article on Big Hollywood, The Obama Administration and the National Endowment for the Arts(NEA) are teaming up to Recruit the Top artists in the Industry to create Art that Supports the President's Agenda.

An Artist called Patrick, was invited to participate in a Conference Call with the NEA, the White House Office of Public Engagement and United We Serve. Below is a Transcript from the Experience that Patrick Had:

"On Thursday August 6th, I was invited by the National Endowment for the Arts to attend a conference call scheduled for Monday August 10th hosted by the NEA, the White House Office of Public Engagement, and United We Serve. The call would include “a group of artists, producers, promoters, organizers, influencers, marketers, taste-makers, leaders or just plain cool people to join together and work together to promote a more civically engaged America and celebrate how the arts can be used for a positive change!”

"I’m not a “right-wing nut job.” It just goes against my core beliefs to sit quietly while the art community is used by the NEA and the administration to push an agenda other than the one for which it was created. It is not within the National Endowment for the Arts’ original charter to initiate, organize, and tap into the art community to help bring awareness to health care, or energy & environmental issues for that matter; and especially not at a time when it is being vehemently debated. Artists shouldn’t be used as tools of the state to help create a climate amenable to their positions, which is what appears to be happening in this instance. If the art community wants to tackle those issues on its own then fine. But tackling them shouldn’t come as an encouragement from the NEA to those they potentially fund at this coincidental time.
And if you think that my fear regarding the arts becoming a tool of the state is still unfounded, I leave you with a few statements made by the NEA to the art community participants on the conference call. “This is just the beginning. 85 Congressmen Support Single Payer Bill : Vote in September to Replace H.R. 3200 With Single Payer Bill
There is a Bill in Congress called H.R. 676 that will institute a Fully Government Controlled Health Care System, also known as Single Payer.The Bill was introduced by 2 Democrats, Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) and Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) .

There will be a Vote on the Floor of the House to add an Amendment to the President's Bill H.R. 3200 and Replace it with H.R. 676. The Amendment Says:

"The Single-Payer Amendment to HR 3200, introduced by Rep. Anthony Weiner1 amends Division A of HR 3200 by substituting the provisions of HR 676, “The U.S. National Health Care Act” for its presentcontents. HR 676, introduced by Rep. One of the Biggest supporters in Health Care Now is the SEIU. This is the Same Union who's members beat up the Black Conservative, Kenneth Gladney, at a Russ Carnahan Rally in St. Louis Missouri.

Why the Government is doing Cash for Clunkers and Coming Soon : Cash for Refrigerators
Those of you that read my Blog regularly know Why the Government has created the Program, 'Cash for Clunkers'. For those that are new Readers, here is the Gist of it.
Cash for Clunkers was designed to remove all of the old Gas Powered Vehicles off the Road and force everyone to Buy a Government Created, Smart Gird Compatible, Smart Car. They do this by destroying the "Clunkers" instead of reselling them and then only allowing the Government 'rebate' to be used on Government approved Vehicles. This initial Program was the 'Pilot' Program for one that will be made into law sometime in the Near Future. They will probably cram it in the Cap and Trade Bill or some other piece of legislation that is 1000 pages long.

This Program will pay rebates, through state energy agencies, to people who buy more energy efficient Appliances. Now where this program differs from 'Cash for Clunkers' (Which was probably an over site) is that the New 'Cash for Refrigerators' Program does not force you to Destroy your old Appliances.
Now Why is the Government choosing to do this Program?
Again, this has everything to do with the Smart Grid and Eventual total Government Control of your Life.
The 'Smart Grid' is the new system that is being built by the Federal Government with the Cooperation of Mega Companies like GE and Microsoft, that will allow the Utility company to Change the Temperature on your Thermostat, turn off your Hot water heater, Change your Electricity Rates by the Minute and base on Peak usage, as well as even adjust the Temperature in your oven and in conjunction with Cap and Trade , design a Personal "Carbon Footprint Report" so that the Government can Restrict your Individual Creation of CO2.
This is why the President said that we will not be allowed to have our Homes set at 72 degrees anymore, because he won't let us. The Smart Grid is how he is going to accomplish this..
Now in order for the Smart Grid to Control all of the Appliances in your house, they need to be replaced with "Demand-Control" appliances. These New type of Appliances will have the ability to talk to the "Smart Grid" and take commands from the Government via the Utility company.
But in order for everyone in the Country to replace their old Appliances with New 'Demand- Response Appliances', the Federal Government has to come up with a way to Make you Buy what they want you to buy, without you realizing the fact that they are controlling you. By using a 'Cash for Refrigerators' Program, people are encouraged to buy a Government approved Appliance in order to get the Rebate. That is called Behavioral Economics. The Government controls your actions and decisions by encouraging the behavior it wants you to adopt, in this case through Rebates.
Right now Demand-Appliances are not in Show rooms yet, but they will be by the end of the Year. Because the Smart Grid is set to go online some time next year in many places in the United States.

For the First Time in Histroy: Union Leader Appointed to Head Federal Reserve Board in New York : Communist Party Celebrates
For the First Time in History of the United States, Dennis Hughes, president of the New York State AFL-CIO, was named chairman of the powerful Federal Reserve Bank of New York. A Union Leader has never held that position before.
This move is being celebrated by the supporters of the President, including the Communist Party.
According to the online Newspaper for the Communist Party USA, the People's Weekly World(PWW), this move , and the Fact that the union received a large Chunk of GM, does not mean that the Labor Movement will lose it's "militancy":
"The labor movement, in its struggle to reverse the ultra-right stranglehold on the economy, has grown in power and influence. It has successfully entered the electoral arena and changed the makeup of the government. It has waged struggles for labor law reform and health care reform that could be on the verge of success. Against the backdrop of mass anger over the corporate greed that created the economic disaster, the appointment of someone like Hughes should not be seen as a surprise.

Representation of labor on the GM board, however, came about differently. There the union was forced to help bail out a poorly run enterprise, tasking financial responsibility from incompetent capitalists who couldn’t do it properly themselves.

None of these developments signal a move by labor away from militant collective bargaining struggles, fights on the electoral front, and struggles for passage of legislation, including a law that will make it easier to organize millions of new workers. They signal, instead, a labor" movement that is growing stronger because of those struggles."
Those Darn 'incompetent capitalists' they can't seem to run anything....especially when the Socialists/Communists are trying to undermine the Capitalist system.

President's "Organization For America" Offering College Credits To Join : Is This Apart of Obama's Army?
During the Presidential Campaign, Obama said that he wanted a "civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded” as our military." This has yet to materialize, but some speculate that by the President's "Organization for America" giving College Students College Credits for "helping to gather support for the President's agenda" is just the beginning of that 'Army'.
According to an Article in World Net Daily, the President's "Grass Roots" group, 'Organizing for America'(OFA) is offering College Credits to young college students to join and help gather support for the President's Agenda. On several websites, the OFA is running ads like this one:
"Students and young people were critical in building the movement that helped elect President Obama last year. By becoming a National Organizing Intern, you'll be part of the grassroots effort to make the change we fought for a reality in 2009 and beyond. As an Organizing Intern, you'll work side by side with OFA staff and community leaders to help build support for President Obama's agenda. You'll learn core organizing principles that are crucial for any campaign and play an important role in building our organization in your state."
President Obama describes his time as a community organizer by saying: 'It was the best education I ever had, because I learned in those neighborhoods that when ordinary people come together, they can achieve extraordinary things.'
This is your chance to get that same education.
If you're passionate about making sure every American has quality health care, reviving our economy, and building a clean energy future, don't miss this great opportunity. No previous experience is needed in order to apply."
Some have speculated that this is the beginning of the President's 'Civilian Security Force'. Even Norm Sterzenbach, executive director of the Iowa Democratic Party, thinks that having this 'Organizing for America' is odd:
"But the idea of having a sitting president continuing an organization is fairly unusual."
As the President continues to "create" support for his agenda through Groups like 'Organizing for America' , More and More Americans continue to stand to oppose it.
If this is the Beginning of the Obama Army, I would say it's too little, too late.
Americans are waking up by the Millions.....
And Recently when the President asked for Millions to come out in Support for His Agenda on a Conference Call...

A Mite, Not "Global Warming", is Killing Off Bees
Many Supporters of Global Warming point to the decline in the Bee population as a sign of Global Warming, but a Study in Tuesday's Issue of the National Academy of Sciences says otherwise.
According to an Article by the AP, the reason the Bees are Dying is:
"the varroa mite, which was accidentally introduced to the U.S. in 1986, is a carrier of picorna-like viruses that damage the ribosomes."
Ribosomes make proteins necessary for life. So when the Mites infect the Bees with this Virus it damages the ribosomes ability to make Protein. And this is important because:
"If your ribosome is compromised, then you can't respond to pesticides, you can't respond to fungal infections or bacteria or inadequate nutrition because the ribosome is central to the survival of any organism. You need proteins to survive," said May R. Berenbaum, head of the department of entomology at Illinois."
So next time you hear someone say that Global Warming is killing the bees...

According to an Article on Reuters, Fidel Castro said Tuesday that:
"President Barack Obama is trying to make positive changes in the United States, but is being fought at every turn by right-wingers who hate him because he is black"
Wow...Where have we heard that before?
The Fact that Fidel Castro says that the President is "trying to make positive changes" is enough to stand against anything the President Proposes.

Cap and Trade Bill To Be Passed Before December
While the Administration was busy trying to distract the Country from the Health Care Debate yesterday, they snuck in an actual piece of News. The White House yesterday said that the United States Must Have a Climate Change Law before December.
Why December?
Because there is a Copenhagen Climate Change Conference in December and the President wants to Prove that we are "Serious" about Global Warming.
It seems that the Congress will not only be working hard on the passing the Health Care Bill in September, but they are going to work on Cap and Trade as well.
Who was the Person that the Administration picked to announce this "Important News?" Was it the White House Spokes man? No...
The Administration picked the Agriculture Secretary, Tom Vislack and the Commerce Secretary, Gary Locke.
Mr. Vislack told the Press yesterday that:
"We think it is important for the president to be empowered to be able to say to the rest of the world that America stands ready to lead on this issue."
After which Mr. Locke followed up that statement with:

President Losing Health Care Debate : Tells Press to Relax / Press Release about New Interrogation Group
It seems like the President has suddenly decided to stop pushing his Health Care Reform since he is apparently losing the debate. The Administration has tried blaming the failure on everyone from the Protesters to the Media. The Administration even sent out a Call to "Hit Back Twice as Hard" and some of their nut job supporters took it literally and began intimidating peaceful Protesters all over the Nation, some even beat up a Black Conservative Man in St. Louis for Selling Don't Tread on Me Flags. Now it seems the Administration is going back to the tactics they used before, "ignore it and it will go away."
This week the President went on Vacation to Martha's Vineyard and what did the White House Spokesman want to talk about?...... Relaxation. Leave the President Alone....This was quickly followed by a Press Release saying that the President was going to create a Special Terrorist Interrogation "Group" in the FBI.
This is how you can measure the Desperation in the Administration. This "Special Interrogation" group is old news. Months ago there was talk about this "Special Interrogation" group and there was some major backlash on the Web about the President forming his own "Gestapo". Because of this, the talk about the Interrogation Group went away.
Now, after the President is losing the Health Care Debate, they are trying to "Chum Up" the Internet waters with this "Special Interrogation" group again...Hoping that something, anything will take the Focus off the fact that the President has totally lost control of his Health Care Debate and is going down in Flames in the Polls.
That is what you call Desperate....
All the while he is trying to tell the Press Corp at Martha's Vineyard to "Relax" in hopes that the President will Disappear from the news. Out of site, Out of Mind.... The President is trying to "Change the Debate on Health care" by Removing the Debate All together....
He knows that the American People seem to have short memories and in September, he can come back and restart the Debate on Health Care in a Manner that he wants. Hoping that all of the opposition that are so Heated right now, will cool off by then and Go away...
But that is where the President is making a major miscalculation....
The American people are not only Angry, but Scared and the combination of those two emotions will not just "Disappear" because he isn't in the News.. In Fact, the way the Administration is trying to "Change the Debate" will just cause more anxiety, not less.
It is clear that those in Washington are Truly out of Touch with the American People.....
And that their attempt to Change the Debate will Fail....
That is unless they just drop the Debate all together....and Give up on their Agenda..
But then again..I will try not to get all "wee-weed" up over it...

Price of Green Energy Technology To Skyrocket : China Writes Up Plan To Ban Export of "Rare" Minerals Found Only in China
According to an Article on the Telegraph.uk.com, China is about to hold the World at ransom. The Rare minerals that can only be found in China in Large Quantities and are important to the Technology Industry, are about to be cut off because of China's New Stance on rare Minerals.
China is writing up a plan to restrict the exports of rare Minerals that are used to make wind turbines, batteries for electric cars, hard drives, lasers, the Government Mandated Light bulbs and even Missiles.
According to the Article rare minerals are very important to the new "Green" technology like electric Cars:
"Each Toyota Prius uses 25 pounds of rare earth elements."
Other countries have limited rare Mineral Deposits, but the time it will take to extract them and the amount that is avaiable in the depostis, will not feed the Need for such minerals in the World Market.
If China follows through on this Ban, then the Federal Government will be forced to search for their Own sources of Rare Minerals in the United States. Which may make the Cost of "green tech" to high to be Viable.
So now China will now own the most Debt of the United States...
And Deny the U.S. the Minerals it needs to Go "Green"...
Somehow, the United States turning into a Third World Country seems more possible everyday...

Once a Marine.....
Yesterday I took my Family out to the Fesitval of the Little Hills in St. Charles MO. There were Thousands of People packing the Streets and it was a Beautiful day.
As I was taking snapshots of the Crowd and the stoic old Buildings, I noticed a Black Gentlemen standing in the Middle of the Crowd with a Smile on His face. He was watching people go by and just seeming to suck it all in.
Now this man was wearing a Polo Shirt, Slacks and what really made me take notice, was the Older Woodland Camouflage Marine Corps Cap sitting proudly upon his Gray hair. So as I always do, I approached the man to Thank Him For His Service.
Come to Find out this Marine was a Colonel that commanded men in Vietnam, the Gulf War, Africa, Iraq and even Assisted in Formulating some of the Plans in Afghanistan. He had been in the Marine Corp for almost 40 Years.
When I asked Him When he "retired", which I followed up quickly with I realize Once a Marine Always a Marine, he said August 17th, just 7 Days ago.
I thanked him for his Service and I thanked His Wife for Her Sacrafice in order to allow Her Husband to serve our Country. He also had a Young 10 Year old son that Said he was going to be a Marine.
He said he was Proud to Serve so that People, like the ones at the Fesitval, could enjoy their days in Peace and Bitch about what we are doing "over there".
Before I parted Company with this Battle Hardened American Hero, with Teary Eyes he looked at me and he asked:
"Please, Please say Prayers for those still over there. They Need all the Help they can Get."
I answered...
"Always and I will...."

Trouble Makers Give Peaceful Protesters in O'Fallon Missouri Trouble: 13 Police Officers Called to Scene
It seems like the President's Troublemakers are everywhere, even in the Peaceful Town of O'Fallon Missouri.
This Saturday, as the weekly Peaceful Protest of Patriots was breaking up, 2 Men suddenly appeared and began to cause a little trouble. Then Someone called the Police claiming that there was a "Fight between 10 People" going on. Here is a First Hand account of the incident:
"After everyone left, there were about 4 people left standing around talking and two men came over and tried to start trouble, screaming that next weekend they were bringing 100 people and picket right here with us against us. One person from our group got in their face screaming with these 2 men. I tried to tell everyone to calm down and that these gentlemen had the right to come just as we did and there was no need for fighting. However, someone called the police and there were six police cars and 3 motorcycle policeman. The African-American who was the one who started it had left when he saw the cars coming and the person who was screaming at these two men left also. The police spoke to me and the others there and said that next weekend if these people show up to protest, please do not engage in any altercations and to also remind people to not park in the Mobile parking lot. The officer took my drivers license info and home phone #, but no one else's and I didn't even get involved except to try to put out this fire of words being thrown. I just thought you might want to know to e-mail people that the police will come back if there's trouble next weekend. This whole incident was a set-up in my opinion. The police told us that someone called in saying there were 10 people there fighting and that is simply a lie. I talked to the two clerks at Mobile and they said the two men had come inside there first and went off on them that Mobile was allowing and basically endorsing the protest. They told the men that we were on public land and Mobile had nothing to do with it in any way."
These type of "Plants" are showing up at many Peaceful Protests all over the Nation trying to Discredit the Tea Party Movement and other Conservative Groups that are standing up against Big Government and Socialized Medicine.
I will be at the Protest in O'Fallon this Saturday to make sure that if the Counter Protesters show up in Force, that We Will Outnumber them.
This is pure intimidation and A Free People should Never Fear Tyrants!
The Protest starts at 1:00 P.M. at the Corners of Hwy K and N in O'Fallon Missouri in Front of the Mobil Station. Be there at 12:30ish and Do Not Park in the Mobile Station parking Lot. There is Plenty of Parking at the Schunucks Parking Lot just West of the Station and a WalGreens Parking Lot Just North of the Mobil Station.
It would also be nice to Patronize the Mobil Station, especially since the Employees were threatened by the Thugs and the Business has been nothing but nice to the Peaceful Protesters in the Past.

President Says he Needs "Millions of Voices Calling for Change" : He Gets Only 280,000
In another "Call to Action" E-mail by the President to his "Grass Roots" organization, "Organizing for America", the President said that:
"Nothing is More Powerful than Millions of People Calling for Change"
Too bad the Size of Audience he received on Thursday for his big Internet Conference Call only totalled 280,000.
Also it appears the President is trying to "One Up" his opponents and is calling for "Grass root" events this weekend to show Support for Health Care "Reform".
Now if the President calls for "Grass Root" events, doesn't that make them "Astro Turf" events since the Orders are coming from the "Top-Down?"
But I Digress...

Also it appears the President is trying to "One Up" his opponents and is calling for "Grass root" events this weekend to show Support for Health Care "Reform".
Now if the President calls for "Grass Root" events, doesn't that make them "Astro Turf" events since the Orders are coming from the "Top-Down?"
But I Digress...

Martha's Vineyard, The President's Vacation Location, has a Large Illegal Population from Brazil
Martha's Vineyard, the Vacation destination of past Presidents and now President Obama, has a Very Large Illegal Population that is being called the "Engine" of the Island for the Elites.
According to an Article on the BBC, Martha's Vineyard has a Population of 15,000 with a Brazilian Population of 3,000-6,000 people. 70% of the Brazilian Population, on Martha's Vineyard, are in this Country Illegally.
These Thousands of Illegals serve food, clean the Pools for the Wealthy, Cut the Grass and even own shops that rent Scooters and Bikes to Vacationers.

Liberman Warns President About Forcing Through Health Care
According to an Article on CNN, Democrat Joe Liberman says that if the Democrats Force Through the Health Care Bill alone, it could be a "Mistake" for the Obama Administration:
"Frankly, it won't be good for the Obama presidency."
Joe Liberman also points out that the Health Care Bill isn't the Only thing the President is trying to get done:
"He has got other fights to fight," the senator from Connecticut told CNN's "State of the Union," citing climate change, financial regulatory reform, and the war in Afghanistan."
How will they Force through the Bill? What Tactics will they Use? Democrat Chuck Schumer says the tactics:
"include just getting 60 Democratic votes and maybe an occasional Republican here or there… They include looking at reconciliation, which only needs 51, and they include a combination."
If you have never heard of "Reconciliation" before, that is because the Democrats just added a "Health Care Reconciliation" to the 2010 Budget. It seems they were expecting this kind of resistance and needed a New Way around it, instead of the boring, old, Constitutional Way.

Pictures From Recess Rally in Crystal City Missouri
About 250-300 People showed up to protest in front of Russ Carnahan's Office in Crystal City Missouri during the national Recess Rally on Saturday.
Sharp from http://www.sharpelbowsstl.blogspot.com/ was the Master of Ceremonies(MC) for the Event.
Naturally there where no representatives from the Carnahan's office present to hear the People's Concerns over the President's health care Bill.

Chicago Judge Dismisses Federal Lawsuit Against Federal Run AIG
In another great Example of Why the federal Government will Not "Play Fair", A Chicago Judge has just Dismissed a Federal Work Man's Comp Lawsuit Against the Federally Owned AIG.
According to an Article on Reuters:
"American International Group Inc (AIG.N) won dismissal of a federal lawsuit accusing the troubled insurer of fraudulently shortchanging state workers' compensation pools out of more than $1 billion."
So I guess if the Federal Government would have won the case against the Government Run AIG, it would be like paying itself.
This is a great Example of why a Government Run Insurance Company is a bad Idea. If the Government Run Insurance Company Breaks the Law or Breaches a Contract, How do you Prosecute or Sue the Federal Government?
Oh and How Ironic is it that it was a "Chicago" Judge that Dismissed the case...

China Dumps The Most U.S. Debt in Nine years
According to an Article in the BBC, China, the Largest U.S. Debt Holder, dumped a Chunk of it's U.S. holdings in June. China Dumped more than 3% of it's U.S. Debt Holdings which adds up to the Biggest reduction in nine Years.
China's concerns about the reckless spending of the U.S. and the uncertain future of the Dollar have led to this move. China is so uncertain about the future of the U.S. Currency that they are openly pushing for a new World reserve Currency.

The Government Insurance Won't Put Private Insurance Out of Business : But If Government Run GM Puts Private AutoMakers Out of Business..It's OK
Even after the President has said that the Government Run Health Insurance will not "Put Private Insurance out of Business", the Federal Government decided it's OK to do it in the Auto Industry.
The Government Owned and Run General Motors(GM) is offering advances to it's Dealers that participate in the Government Cash for Clunkers Program. Other Dealerships that are Not Owned by the Federal Government are still not receiving their Money and Many are pulling out of the Government Program all together.
This move threatens to put out of Business the Other Private Automakers/Dealerships that refuse to participate in the Program because Consumers will Flock to the GM Government Supported Dealerships that are participating in the Program. Dealers like Ford, Toyota and others will Either Go Broke Trying to participate in a Program that doesn't pay them, or Go Broke by Not Participating and allowing Customers to Go To The Government Subsidised GM Dealerships.
But remember, just because this "Unfair Government Competition" may put Private Automakers/Dealerships out of Business....

Rick Klein of ABC News Asks: Where did the Obama Supporters Go?
Rick Klein of ABC news is asking a question that the President is asking himself, where did all of his supporters go?
When the President Needs the Support for the Pivotal Issue of his Presidency, it appears that his "Army" of supporters are no where to be seen. For Weeks, the Citizens that have stood against the Health Care Bill have Filled Town Halls and made National News, while the President's supporters have been watching from the comfort of their couches. Only after the President pulled a Move worthy of any "Astro-Turf" movement and called out his supporters to show up to Town Halls, did his "Army" Materialize.
So now the President is trying to "Light a Fire" under his "Army". One of those ways is the Meeting that I blogged about with Organization for America, as Mr. Klein Describes:
"Intensity of support has rarely been President Obama’s problem. But he’s seeking to bring some passion back to his army -- among the critical missing pieces in the battle for health care reform.

And so the president is back to looking for allies. His 1:10 pm ET appearance on Michael Smerconish’s radio program, live from the White House, might bring some skeptical questioners.

Then it’s on to a 2:30 pm ET online forum set up by Organizing for America -- with the message that it’s time to get, well, organized. “This is an incredible opportunity to huddle with the President, ask questions, and discuss how we're going to pass real health insurance reform this year,” OFA director Mitch Stewart wrote in an e-mail to supporters Thursday morning."
Many in the Real Grass Roots movement that oppose the President's Plan have wondered if their Genuine outrage is having an effect on the "Ruling Class" in Washington. According to Mr. Klein, they have been having an Effect:
"Think the town halls haven’t mattered? Whether this is political cover or a genuine conversion, the upshot is the same:
“Sen. Charles E. Grassley, a key Republican negotiator in the quest for bipartisan health-care reform, said Wednesday that the outpouring of anger at town hall meetings this month has fundamentally altered the nature of the debate and convinced him that lawmakers should consider drastically scaling back the scope of the effort,” Lori Montgomery and Perry Bacon Jr. write in The Washington Post.

And another voice for a piecemeal approach? “LBJ made it very clear a half a loaf is better than no loaf at all,” House Majority Whip James Clyburn, D-S.C., said Wednesday. “We should do what can be done immediately and use the time between now and 2013 to figure out how to do the rest.”
While the Town Halls have been getting the Attention of those in Washington, they still seem to not truly understand the Word ,"No."
"No" does not mean pass only half of it, "No" means NONE of it. Even if those in Washington "Scale Back" their Plans for Government Health Care, those that voted for it will find themselves unemployed come election time.
