With the Creation of Cap and Trade Comes the Creation of a New "Green" Police in the United States

As the United States continues down the Road to Cap and Trade, many fail to realize the Full ramifications of such a program. Many know that Cap and Trade Will become a Giant Tax that will be felt by all consumers in the country but what is overlooked, is the Need for a New Police Force in order to enforce the Law if it's passed.

According to an Article on Times Online, the UK has already formed their "Green Enforcement Unit". In England, the Government has created a New "Green" Police force in order to "Police" companies that are creating excessive Co2 Emissions.

This New Police Force, according to the Article, wears:

"green jackets, the enforcers will be able to demand access to company property, view power meters, call up electricity and gas bills and examine carbon-trading records"

But the New "Green" Police Force will also have the Power to:

"demand energy bills from utilities without the companies under investigation knowing they are being watched."

Some of my readers may wonder why this effects those of us in the United States, and even if We create a Police Force similar to the one in the UK, how is that going to effect the Individual?

I just recently wrote a Posting about an Article on Smart Grid News .com that explained how the Government and Utility Companies, in conjunction with the Smart Grid and Cap and Trade, will be able to create Individual Carbon Footprint Reports, based on your personal energy use.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Smart Grid and Cap and Trade combined with a "Green" Police Force will be a way for the Government to Micro Manage Your Life and Force you to Live a Lifestyle that the Government Dictates. If you Don't, then you will be subject to Arrest and Fines from the "Green Shirts."

From the Miles you Drive in your Electric Car, to the Temperature you set your Thermostat to will all be subject to enforcement and control by the Government and the Utility Companies.

I suspect that eventually as the Smart Grid nears completion, the Federal Government will find a way to Seize the Utility companies, thereby removing the Middle man as it pertains to controlling your Life and the Energy you use.
