A Health Expert in New Zealand, a Country that has Nationalized Health Care, has said that
"over-fatness" is a self-inflicted burden on the taxpayer.
According to an Article in the New Zealand Herald, Professor John Birkbeck has said that:
"anti-obesity efforts won't work until society refuses to accept the condition as normal and healthy, as it has done for smoking."
Professor Birkbeck's Comments have outraged many people in New Zealand, but are not New in the sense that these type of Comments have been made in other Countries with Nationalized Health Care.
In England, Obesity is being touted as "a Condition that Perpetuates Global Warming" since the process of growing more Food for "fat" people creates more Green House Gases, not to mention the Methane produced from the "Obese".
But Professor Birkbeck's Comments have delved into the realm of fascism when he said:
"You do not see fat people in concentration camps. Why? Because they get hardly anything to eat and they have to do a lot of work."
Also Professor Birkbeck had this to say about why Dictatorships may not be bad in this case:
"In a dictatorship, you say 'everybody that comes back in a year's time with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of more than 30 will be shot' - and you'll find hardly anyone has a BMI over 30."
This is the attitude of Progressives, once the Government is paying for Your Health Care, then the Government can Tell You how to live, what to eat and if you will be receiving Treatment or not. Even though there are many known Medical Conditions that do not allow a person to lose weight such as Tyroid Diease ( which I have).
But the Progressives have not stopped with Heath Care. The Reasons that the U.S. Government claims that they can seize and "Run" Private Corporations and Banks is the Fact that these Businesses and Banks "Took Tax Payers Money" in the Form of "Bailouts". But what the Government forgets to tell you is that these "Bailouts" were Forced on many of these Private Corporations, since they were told by the Treasury Department that they would not be allowed to say no.
The Next step is for the Government to Control the lives of those who receive Well-fare, Social Security, Medicare and even those who Receive Emergency Disaster Relief. Once the Pandora's Box of "If the Government Pays for it, then the Government Controls it" is open, the amount of Control that the Federal Government will be allowed to exercise is limitless.
Recently in England the Last Survivor of the Titanic, Millvina Dean, passed away. But the Great "Nationalized Health Care" of England refused to pay for her continued care just a few months ago, because the Government deemed that the cost of the Care would not be worth it since She was too "Old" and "won't be able to contribute to society in anyway." If it was not for the Stars of the Movie Titanic, Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio donating $30,000, she would have been kicked out of the Government Paid for Nursing Home and denied Medical Care.
If this is how Nationalized Health Care treats a Woman as famous as Millvina Dean, how do you think your Old Mother Will be Treated?
These are examples of the Future for America once Nationalized Health Care has been passed. The U.S. Government has had no Problem with seizing Private Corporations and appointing new people to run them, just because the Government Forced them to take "Bailout" Money. So why do you think that the Government isn't going to Ration Your Health care and deny you and your family Coverage just because you are "Fat", Too "Old", "Smoke or just don't want to live the way the Government tells you.
Besides, isn't Tax Payer Money YOUR Money? Not the GOVERNMENT'S Money? So How can the Government take YOUR Money for YOUR Health Care...and then DENY to spend YOUR money on YOU? Because the Progressive mindset is that once YOU Pay YOUR taxes to the Government, the Money no longer Belongs to YOU, it Belongs to THEM to do with as THEY wish in order to push forward their Political Agenda.
So once they deny you for coverage they will be laughing at your Fat, Old, Smokers body lying there in your Bed.....dying. See you have to understand that you aren't as important as the all mighty Dollar and their Political Agenda of Complete Control.
Tyranny......it's here.....and Spreading Fast....accompanied by the Applause of the Uneducated at the Destruction of their Own Freedom.
